Told the taxi company my train time and they still turned up 20 mins late so I missed my train after they ensured that the taxi would turn up on time

I called the company 1 day in advance to book a taxi for my guests, they were arriving from London and needed transportation to Duxford museum. The lady on the phone assured me that there is no need to book it as they are always available. However, when my guests arrived to the station and tried to call the company they have been told that they will need to wait at least 45 minutes for next available cab
Later during that day, they have called the same company to bring them back to the station, the driver took another passenger instead of my guests who actually booked it.
They told me that at least the drivers were polite and the car was nice.

I have used these twice now and on both occasions they have turned up very late. Cant get hold of the drivers and on the second occasion the driver tried to make up there was no record of the booking even though he managed to turn up late. Guess we can count ourselves lucky he turned up at all from reading the other reviews.

Driver did not show up, no money refunded, refused to communicate, do not book!

We pre-booked and pre-payed a taxi via caz cars for our journey home from Stansted Airport. We would not have caught the last train and thought a taxi would be fast and convenient. They do offer meet-and-greet at arrivals, and claim to wait up to 45 min for free in case of delays, as well as monitoring of the flight to avoid extra charges. We arrived at the meet-and-greet area 10 min later than agreed (00.30 am in the morning), but did not see a driver waiting. We tried to call the agency multiple times, wrote an e-mail to caz cars and waited in plain sight for 1.5 hours before taking a non-prebooked taxi home. 3.5 hours later (at 4 am in the morning) we received a text message with the drivers phone number and in the morning an e-mail with an excuse for the late reply expressing the hope that we had met up and made our way home safe together. I wrote back that we unfortunately had not met the driver, and that I would expect a refund. I never received an answer. I browsed their website and wrote a very polite e-mail, pointing out that they offer 100% money back guarantee, that we had done our best to communicate and meet up and that we had made our claim withing the requested time-frame. Again I did not receive an answer. I continued to write an e-mail every day, just reminding them that I was still waiting for an answer. 5 days later my husband phoned them, asking about our case. He was answered, that we had no right to claim money back, because we had not called the office (which we had) and that caz cars had provided the drivers phone number. In the next sentence he admitted, that of course he would not answer calls at 1 am and that the office was closed anyway during the night. Then he hung up.

Shockingly bad. Booked in advance online and paid in advance - left stranded in a village five miles from home. When I called them they said they'd rejected the booking even though I have written confirmation that they accepted it. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards as they have clearly been in breach of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 on many occasions judging by the reviews and these jokers need to be shut down in my opinion.

Booked taxis with Caz’s twice now, despite the negative reviews. So far cannot fault them. Punctual and pleasant drivers with very comfortable cars. Travelled home from town late at night and felt very safe. Thank you

I called the office line, and after 1minute the price was agreed, I went from shelford to sawston and saved £3.00 from other companies, advised they would be there at 9.30, and at the gate was the far, lovely warm welcome BMW new style, the driver was very smart, smoke free car.

And I arrived on time, even we had to take a extra few miles more, but as the price was agreed, no more was needed.

I will use these again, and advised the camp site at shelford to use again.

Prepaid booking, but they left us stranded at Stansted Airport.
We had booked through Taxicode, pre-paid with meet'n'greet. But when we came out of the airport (right at the time we had ordered the taxi for), there was no driver. We contacted Taxicode, and was told that the driver from Caz Cabs had decided to pick up another person instead. So we had to get one of the airport cabs instead, at a much higher cost.
