If you are looking for an in dept knowledge of the city’s music culture, history and with a sense of British humour, Joe is the walking tour you have to take.
Totally enjoyed myself and Joe is an excellent host that is extremely passionate about his city - Manchester.
You will see, hear and learn about things, props that you probably never learn from the history books.

Great and informative session. Joe is great and really delves you into the Mancunian history. The pop-ins to several buildings and hotels was a bonus, so also his music knowledge (and actual tunes)! ?

Loved the tour! Fantastic how Joe gives you at the same time a great idea on music in this city as well... definitely recommendable! He is super flexible, so will adapt his tour on the interests of the group too. We had a lovely small group as well, very nice vibe. 🙂

Brilliant, informative and entertaining.
I would definitely recommend Dave- he really knows the city centre.
We are Mancunians but we never knew about The Godlee Observatory. Can't wait to visit it.
Ofc, being in Manchester- there was sun, rain & wind. it was lovely and warm, then bitterly cold.
Dave cannot take credit for the weather though.

Met Joe on Thursday 10/10/24 at 10am at the Chinese arch. We were joined by others who were a lovely group of people. Joe is very friendly and knowledgeable and walked and talked us through 3.5 hours of really interesting buildings, facts and art installations. We were concerned about the length of the walk ( both in our 70’s)but as we stopped on a regular basis to chat about the sights it was no bother at all. He took us into places we would never have stepped foot in and consequently spent our Friday night with friends in a bar within a beautiful architectural masterpiece. Thanks Joe ?

Joe was incredibly informative and knew all the places in and out with proper history. This tour has a bit of everything, famous landmarks, important reference points for historical figures, trivia about local areas as well as a wonderful playlist to enhance the experience. I had a wonderful time on my tour with Joe. 3 hours seem to fly by as I learned so much about Manchester, it's incredible history & its amazing musical history! Joe was very enthusiastic and his knowledge was also incredible! Highly recommend this tour with Joe, a different approach with the music but worth every minute!

I loved the tour, Joe, he had a fascinating energy, he taught us many historical, particular and very interesting things about the city. Also, something that I loved was that it took us back to historical times with its music playlist that told the stories of the city.
