A gem hidden in South Devon and a must visit. We did the private tour and both our hosts expertly talked us through the extensive range of chillies the farm has curated over the years a fantastic insight into how they grow chillies in an English climate and the hard work and dedication is evident. Lovely products to take away including fresh chillies and a collection of plants to grow at home. Well worth a trip!

Just got my first order from South Devon chilli farm after being massively let down by another very well know fresh chilli provider who never have any of their advertised stock in. These guys however have an amazing choice and so many beautiful varieties. Got 10 different types which arrived in good time and in perfect condition absolutely thrilled. They are now my new chilli supplier, I grow my own but need more for my recipes and chilli jams

Our first time visiting. A really lovely setup and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable. As a rookie grower the gentleman we spoke to was able to give us plenty of advise and we left with several new plants. I hadn’t realised how local the farm was - our first visit but certainly not our last!

Absolutely delighted by the plants but more importantly the quality of the follow up service. Our purple pumpkin was the only one of x12 plants, we ordered, that took a beating in transit and despite expert nurturing didn’t pull through. Reported the sad loss to south Devon chilli farm and received x2 replacements at no cost in perfect condition within x2 days of reporting the tragic incident. Good work people, very pleased with our new project.

Very friendly staff as well as owner. Able to taste most chillies but please avoid the Reaper. I suffered from tasting this but the staff was very helpful by giving me fresh milk and some chocolates to ease the pain. Owner is from Trinidad and very knowledgeable.

Very much enjoyed my South Devon Chilli Farm workshop today. Really great to see how the farm works and expand on my chilli knowledge (even got to pot a lot of chillies) Phill and the rest of the time were fantastic and looked after us. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible place. If you go in the summer (late July until early September) they do a free (no tickets required) tour of the whole farm at 11:30am - well worth doing, and followed by an (optional) chilli eating challenge, all from their own farm, picked that day, and often finishing with the Carolina Reaper.

Our tour guide, Patrick, was amazing - super enthusiastic, very knowledgable (he is one of the main people working there), and really friendly.

They also have a great farm cafe and shop, with a really lovely outdoor area to eat (as well as an indoor area).

You can also buy chilli plants and seeds should you wish. I would definitely recommend going.
