We have stayed at the gorgeous Woodlands property for a long weekend for my surprise 40th with children in November. From luxury furnishings, to high power showers, to superb linen, to very private surroundings, to immaculately spotless throughout, to incredible sauna and hot tub - there isn’t one tiny detail we didn’t love! Highest recommendations and a huge thanks to all at the Mermaid holidays iow for an unforgettable stay.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the absolutely incredible experience we had during our recent family holiday in Ventnor. From start to finish, every aspect of our stay was nothing short of magical.
First and foremost, the accommodations were beyond our expectations. The house was not only charming and impeccably clean but also conveniently located not far from the beach, allowing us to enjoy stunning views and peaceful walks. Looking at the English channel through our living room window (and garden) was just amazing.
Moreover, the hospitality we received was exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the helpful tips provided throughout our stay, your staff made us feel truly valued and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable vacation.
Lastly, the beauty of Ventnor itself cannot be overstated. The quaint streets, the breathtaking cliffs, and the tranquil atmosphere made it the perfect destination for relaxation and quality family time. We returned home feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to create such cherished memories together.
Thank you once again for facilitating an unforgettable holiday experience. We are already dreaming of our next visit and will certainly be recommending Mermaid Holidays Isle of Wight to all our friends and family.

Unfortunately we would never use Mermaid Properties again as their customer services were appalling. We had been trying to contact Mermaid for 2 weeks for an address to organise a shopping delivery but at no point did they respond. The day before our arrival we were then told our apartment was unavailable due to ‘maintenance issues’ whereas the property had actually been up for sale: something which they must have known prior to the day before checkin. To be fair we were then put in a very good property of an equal spec and had a lovely
stay but we would not recommend Mermaid due to such poor communication and customer service.

1 star just so I can leave a review had a holiday booked 2 yr in advance all paid up so now 4 weeks before departure they cancel our holiday and leave us with nothing but a ferry thats booked and nowhere to go just so they can give it to someone else for more money stay away from this company this is wrong
