We stayed here for five nights in August on the camping side of the park and had an incredible trip. While the camping area is a bit of a walk from the main site and across a road, the park overall is really nice with great facilities. Our favorite parts were the outdoor pool and cinema area, especially when the weather was nice. The entertainment was great every night, too.||The camping area itself is perfect. The immaculate toilet, shower, and wash block is a short walk at the end of the field. The showers are instantly hot and lovely. There aren't many pitches, so it's not too busy. The best part of the camping experience at Whitecliff Bay is Alison and Kevin, the camping wardens. They greeted us warmly on arrival, which was so welcome after our long journey from the north of England. Throughout our stay, they couldn't do enough for us, from providing homemade ashtrays and fresh freezer blocks daily to even offering to help set up our tent. They are simply great and provided peace of mind knowing they were overseeing the tucked-away camping field. They made our trip extra special.||The Isle of Wight is a true gem of the UK. The area is stunning, with beautiful beaches and scenery, plenty to do and see in the little towns and villages, and glorious weather. We've already booked again for next year!

We have just stayed for 3 nights. Family of 3 with 8 yr old. It was a fantastic stay. Great entertainment even in Feb at the very start of the season (1st weekend if Feb half-term) Good food in the pub/restaurant. Pool was great fun albeit very cold and even colder changing rooms when you come out. All of the kids had a great time in the club house and were kept entertained all evening. Arcades not as big as Haven or Parkdean but enough to keep the kids entertained but sadly the prizes could be improved for the kids to spend their tokens or even include some sweets to pick. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return if they were not charging the earth for a week in the summer holidays.

re Whitecliffe Bay - we have just stayed for 3 nights in a tribeca lodge. We had a brilliant stay the lodge was lovely and clean on arrival - we were able to check in early which was a bonus! The site was well kept and the maintenance team were always about. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi in our lodge and all the staff I spoke to were brilliant and tried their absolute best to get it sorted! Even when they swapped over from day to day they had passed on the message and the next person was dealing with the problem. I can’t comment on the entertainment as there isn’t any this time of year, but everything else was brilliant! Staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble and everything was lovely and clean!

Had 2 nights over Christmas as a family of 5. Stayed in Tribecca 6. Check in was easy and our accomodation was spotless. The hot tub guy was efficient and friendly. We've stayed before so know the location is beautiful. Will most definitely be back again |

The chalet we stayed in was full of mould, from the walls, to the curtain. Ripped bedding, cracker shower base, the hot tub jets came on intermittently and wouldn’t turn off so they’d go on and off throughout the night. We didn’t find out services were shut until a week before we went, despite emails telling us to enjoy this and that- we were told we should have looked, despite it stating at the booking checkout that we’d have resort access to the pool etc. these pictures don’t even show the half of it

A change of manager this year has brought so many positive. The park had lost its once brilliant reputation amongst owners and holiday makers. |There were so many negative comments, and the park was a mess. |People were selling up, and those that stayed stayed well away from the amenities. Disgusting food, shabby service, early closing of the club house, no management, it was a shambles. | Thank goodness for the new manager, Sharryn Knibbs. She has been amazing. She listens. Helps with situations when she can. Her presence in the park supports everyone, supported by Neil, there have been some amazing owners functions that have happened this season. Sharryn has put the heart back in Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. Let's hope she never leaves. I'm looking forward to next season, along with many owners and visitors.

My husband booked for us to come and stay in the Rockstar log cabin accommodation Isle of Wight Whitecliff Bay site from Friday 11th to Monday 14th October to celebrate my 30th birthday in style. The island is lovely, don't let this put you off visiting but do NOT book this holiday park. If I could have rated 0 stars I would have. ||Upon check in we were allocated Rockstar accommodation unit 5 Itchycoo Park. The lady at check in was very friendly.||When we arrived at the accommodation we noticed that the plastic on the decking on the step was broken and there was damage to the hot tub lid. ||As we unpacked our bags we were then disappointed to find that there were quite a few issues with the lodge itself. ||In the master bedroom there is a stain on the side of the bed closest to the window and someone else's razor was left down by the side of the bath. The plank of wood by the dishwasher was also broken. ||Upon sitting on the sofa, it wasn't comfortable, standing back we realised the reason why, it was broken and had been replaced with a wooden board that has since broken too. The rim of the light shade is also hanging off the shade. ||Unfortunately the issues didn't stop there. In the bathroom with the shower the toilet lid is protruding forward, which could cause leaks. There is also black mould all by the shower and in the back wall of the shower. When taking a shower it became clear that the shower head is broken and wouldn't stay in a fixed position and the bathroom floor flooded with water. ||A chap came by and asked if we had lost a dog to which we replied no but also told him that there were issues with the accommodation which we didn't want to be held responsible for, to which he replied 'they probably already know'. This was very disappointing to hear. ||On Saturday morning my husband went to reception at 10AM with photos to show the issues with the accommodation. A lady was at reception who he spoke to (sadly he didn't manage to get her name but did say the male colleague next to her was called Josh). He explained all the issues and showed the photos, expressing our disappointment as we spent a lot of money on what was meant to be luxury accommodation but we cannot enjoy ourselves. She wrote down some notes on a piece of paper and said they would send someone from maintenance round whilst we were out to have a look. ||We contacted customer services as we were no happy with the standard of lodge we received, the initial response was that it was forwarded onto Whitecliff Bay to respond. I was very disappointed with the response, much of the response you could tell had been cut and pasted from a template. I was only offered 30 percent off a return stay, after all the issues there is no way I will ever stay at an Away location again. I responded in a polite way that it wasn't acceptable and even tried to contact the CEO. I explained that I didn't want to leave a bad review and wouldn't if we came to a mutually acceptable compensation amount, no suprise they didn't care to respond, hence the negative trip advisor review and me sharing the photos of the lodge.
