I've wanted to use this mini railway for ages and finally today we had a chance! It was adorable. There was quite a long queue and we waited about half an hour but it was worth it.
The volunteers were dressed up, they even gave you a little ticket that was stamped and you went round the lovely little track twice with pretend animals to spot on the way.
I think I enjoyed it more than my 1 year old but can definitely attest that there were lots of very excited little ones queuing patiently, its perfect for toddlers.
The location is also a bonus, you can walk, feeds ducks, grab an ice cream or lunch with plenty of parking all right next door to St Neots. Absolutely lovely.

Absolutely fabulous! The love lavished on this by the hard working volunteers is very evident. Absurdly good value for money, but only runs on Sundays outside of school holidays (and also on Weds in them).

Gala weekend for Riverside Miniature railway, lovely afternoon we went on Sunday very busy with raffle and a gift stall long queues, but worth it, all the volunteers so freindly And only £1 each!

We've been here a few times now and the children absolutely love it. £1 per ticket is a steal!! You go around twice! They are currently trying to raise money to make the track bigger! 🙂 100% recommend. Staff are lovely 😃

A great new attraction in St Neots in the heart of Riverside Park. My son went as far as to say it's the best thing to happen in the town! This not for profit organisation's enthusiastic volunteers have completed one loop so far and have plans for another loop and some sidings as well as other buildings to go with the station they've already built. They have a variety of locomotives and carriages; at the well-attended opening weekend gala in May they also had other attractions such as steam engines and a vintage bus. We had a fun ride and it's only £1 each with all the income ploughed into improving the railway.

I wish I could add more stars to this reveiw , its one of the best things to happen to st neots. The staff are so lovely and the whole set up is amazing all ages love it and so cheap.
I really hope they get more sponsorship so they can build bigger tracks .
I hope its never goes and ill be riding it for many many more years to come

Lovely mini railway. Very well set up and perfect for a ride on next to the river. Best bit of a family visit to riverside in St Neots. The train is very cheap per person and you can tell it means a lot to the volunteers who run it.
