Well worth a visit if you are in or near Sandwich in Kent. Free to enter with quite a few exhibits about the history of the Isle of Thanet - including an original albeit damaged Magna Carta! Make sure you go into the medieval courtroom which is attached to the museum. A fascinating insight into early justice. The chap that showed us around was incredibly knowledgeable.

We took a random left turn at the market square to enter this museum and absolutely delighted that we did.
I have been a regular visitor to the area for 3 years but this was the first time in the Guildhall. We learnt so many fascinating historical facts about the area and the courtroom is wonderfully preserved. It was especially nice that Jill, who has only lived in the area a few years, was so enthusiastic and Peter was mind full of local knowledge.

Popped in with our two little boys and the gents running it could not have been more helpful. Showed us the beautiful court and the dress up for the kids. They also have great recommendations of what else to see in the area. An absolute gem.
