SCAM ALERT!

Purchased a combined bus + Stonehenge entrance ticket on the bus for £38.50.

Since then, the bus company (Go South Coast) has been (unsuccessfully) trying to deduct £38.50 from the credit card I used to purchase the original ticket, on a regular basis. Luckily my bank is on top of things and every transaction has been declined.

Upon arrival at Stonehenge, no one actually asked to see the receipt, in fact you can walk to Stonehenge from the Welcome Center - it’s about a 15 min walk.

So be aware!! Big scam!! They are crooks.

Worst service ever, for many reasons:
1. It is not a tour. It is a 30-minute bus taking you to the Stonehenge for 20£.
2. Its manual process delayed the departure time 50 minutes, leaving people standing on the street the whole time. What happened with scanning or printed list for ticking? Even if you want to manually sell each ticket, just let the people aboard, having their seat and showing/buying ticket then.
3. They don’t care about the timetable. They skipped one hourly bus from Stonehenge back, making us waiting for one more hour and finally missed our train. We had to buy new tickets. Not reliable service at all.
4. On the way back, they dropped us in a unfamiliar place, had to walk 10 minutes to go back to the original venue.

Not impressed. Got on the first bus at 10. He's still boarding. Driver said he's never done this before as he's just a fill in. It's now 1030 and he probably has half the bus boarded. Manual process even if you have a pass with barcode. Find a different tour group. Bus Left at 1047.
The horror. Stuck in traffic jam on a Saturday morning.

driver dropped us off about 1/4 mile away from the front entrance of the train station, where we were supposed to be dropped off. This might not seem like a big deal to some, but it was particularly distressing for two of our fellow passengers, one of whom was disabled with only one leg. They had to struggle to walk back to the train station to catch their train, which could have easily been avoided if the driver had followed through on the promised drop-off point. There was no advanced notice.

It’s incredibly frustrating that a company providing a service to tourists would be so inconsiderate of its passengers, especially those with mobility issues. I would not recommend this company to anyone and hope they reconsider their practices in the future to ensure a more comfortable and respectful experience for all their customers.

A nice bus service commuting from Salisbury city center to Stonehenge and the Old Sarum. It’s hop on hop off bus. The driver is nice and helpful. The ticket costs £18.50 per an adult excluding Stonehenge admission. Is the best way to enjoy the trip in my opinion as the bus arrives on time. Online booking is available!

I visited Salisbury and Stonehenge in May 2022, and this is the only public transport that goes to Stonehenge. The ticket price is high, but unless you want a long walk/cycle or pay for a taxi, it is the only option and includes an informative commentary, and you can then use other buses in the centre of Salisbury, including Old Sarum. You have a voice of just the bus or paying extra for a combined entry ticket.

There’s no place to sit or wait for the bus, people are walking by you all the time because it’s narrow pavement and also if you travel alone you never know if the tour happening or not, I had to go inside the rail station and ask because there was no driver or people around to ask, neither clear information. The bus is every hour. I recommend to check in advance and also buy tickets online so you don’t wait. Tickets are usually sold by the driver. The tour itself was great! I recommend to buy the ticket including the cathedral in Salisbury. Absolutely worth visiting it! It’s piece of art.

We, as well as many other visitors, were left waiting in a rainy day for a bus that was supposedly suppressed.

After an hour, the bus for the following scheduled time drove round the corner and hid himself, I asked the driver but he knew nothing.

Company showed no availability to be reached and we had to pay a taxi cause we were running late for our train.

Uncaring, unresponsive, unprofessional.
