Very nice experience to visit such a wonderful Cathedral. Please be mindful when you go as you have to pay the packing £10/day. I thought that the National Trust house next to it will have free parking but unfortunately not, probably because is close to the Town Center.

It is absolutely amazing to see and experience all the details within. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. The guided tour was also an excellent choice, you will be well looked after at the cathedral as the tour is given by incredibly knowledgeable volunteers. Unfortunately the shop was closed when I visited but I hope to return when everything is fully open once again.

Amazing cathedral with very helpful guides who are stationed at different parts of the cathedral to share their knowledge and answer your questions. Also have guided tour available. I paid £12 as a foreigner to enter and ticket is available for the whole year with repeated entries allowed.

Blessed Virgin Mary cathedral in Salisbury. built in the 13th century . Really amazing Early English Gothic style architecture. Must see this place of worship and it’s an architectural treasure. Prefer to come in a sunny day to see its beauty at its best . I think it’s closed from 4 pm . There is an entry fee to be paid. Lovely and peaceful place .

Just stunning. There was a service on when we visited but we could see the beautiful architecture internally through the door and windows. It is set in beautiful grounds and there is a lovely little cafe just off the green out front.

We had a wonderful visit to the cathedral after walking round the grounds so we could get a decent idea of the scale of it. There is a fixed admission orice, which is unusual for a cathedral, but the cost covers all visits for a year and is certainly worth the cost (£12 I think).
Next time I visit I’d like to do a tower tour but we spent about 90 minutes walking around the grounds floor and enjoying the architecture and history. There is also a free guided tour that you can do.
The Magna Carta was amazing to see, such a brief document considering both its importance and scope.
We ended up in the cafe which had some lovely options and decent prices. A fabulous visit.

Definitely worth a visit: lots to see. Entrance is pricey - but think of it as maintaining some fantastic architecture. One star off for the astronomical prices in the cafe e.g. £2.55 for a 500ml bottle of water ( there are better & cheaper cafe's aroundabout)

We were just going to have a walk around the grounds but decided to take a look inside. We paid £12 each, which gives you access for a year with your receipt. On entering, there were volunteers sharing information, which was really helpful. It's a beautiful cathedral with lovely grounds. Unfortunately, when we visited, Chapter House was closed for refurbishment of the Magna Carta enclosure. But we will be back, I'm sure.
