We were fortunate to get to the train station at 9:45am to depart on the 10am bus. The team at the station were pleasant and we were able to secure a seat on the bus. Although there was a large line of individuals behind us, the driver was able to get everyone onboard. The drive there felt a little dizzying as the driver seemed to have the pedal to the metal to make up time.

On the bus to Old Sarum, the driver was much more cautious driving on the windy roads which I appreciated. When we arrived at the stop we asked him where to go next but he didn't offer any advice. Luckily I was able to map it and found a path that takes you up to the site. It definitely is not an accessible trail.

Luckily, the driver did inform us we could take any Reds bus back to Salisbury. The wait was short and we were able to easily get on the local bus to return without having to wait for the next Stonehenge tour bus.

The ticket was overpriced but we appreciated not having to wait in line too long to access the sites.

Worst service ever, for many reasons:
1. It is not a tour. It is a 30-minute bus taking you to the Stonehenge for 20£.
2. Its manual process delayed the departure time 50 minutes (and another half of hour with hilarious route with heavy traffic), leaving people standing on the street the whole time. What happened with scanning or printed list for ticking? Even if you want to manually sell each ticket, just let the people aboard, having their seat and showing/buying ticket then.
3. They don’t care about the timetable. They skipped one hourly bus from Stonehenge back, making us waiting for one more hour and finally missed our train. We had to buy new tickets. Not reliable service at all.
4. On the way back, they dropped us in a unfamiliar place, had to walk 10 minutes to go back to the original venue.

Not impressed. Got on the first bus at 10. He's still boarding. Driver said he's never done this before as he's just a fill in. It's now 1030 and he probably has half the bus boarded. Manual process even if you have a pass with barcode. No headphones provided so no commentary .Find a different tour. Bus Left at 1047. The horror. Stuck in traffic jam on a Saturday morning. Finally arrived at 1133.

We booked the tour bus from Salisbury after a long day traveling the day before from London to Arundel and Arundel to Salisbury. So happy we did. It made the ride there relaxing and much more interesting. In addition to fun facts about Stonehenge itself, we learned about the history of buildings in and the founding of the current city of Salisbury, gruesome public executions in the now roundabouts, and about Old Sarum. Our bus driver was very nice. The only issue we ran into is that there was a lot of traffic on the return trip to Salisbury which caused us to almost miss our next train. We didn't have time to tour the cathedral or Old Sarum but if you're into history, I'd recommend making it a whole day trip rather than a half-day as we did. Videos are clips from the ride there and back.

This was the most horrible "tour". I had a terrible experience with The Stonehenge Tour. We waited over two hours at the designated bus stop in the cold, and the bus never showed up to pick us up. The sign at the bus stop would say "next bus in 12 minutes" but none ever came. No communication or update was provided, leaving us stranded. Eventually, we gave up and walked to the train station to catch another bus. Don't buy your tickets in advance as they sell them on the bus. The bus driver had to ring everyone up which took the loading process even LONGER. On the way back the bus was supposed to stop at Old Sarum but it didn't stop until someone said, "Aren't we supposed to stop?" then he let people off in the middle of the road a good 800 meters from the entrance. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone – it was unreliable, poorly managed, and left us feeling very disappointed!

The ride to Stonehenge was pretty hassle-free but we had to exit the bus on our way back about a 1/4 mile away from the designated drop-off zone, which was at the Salisbury train station. My party could make the walk in time to catch our train without a problem but there were disabled passengers & a family with a baby that should not have been made to walk that far, especially when the bus could have easily pulled up in front of the train station at the same pick-up stop as where we boarded. It was really disturbing to me that a driver wouldn’t care about them.

The bus driver was extremely rude to me. I asked him a simple question ‘how much is a ticket?’ He answered me very rudely and even laughed in my face when he realised that I didn’t know I had to ask him specifically for either a one way or a return ticket.

Of course, after realising that the price of the bus is absurd, my family ended up taking a taxi, which was way cheaper.

The website says that the bus comes around every hour. I waited 90min in the cold rain. The bus should have come twice but it never arrived. I was not notified in any way nor was any information on their website. I called the contact number without a response. I asked staff at the train station to call (thinking it was an issue with my international number) but they too were unable to contact them. I highly recommend choosing a different company and NOT reserving the bus in advance.
