Absolutely incredible coasteering experience,
Me and my partner had an awesome time and felt very confident with the help and guidance of Patrick.
The jumps, the climbing, the sightseeing and the swimming were a perfect way to experience the coastline.
10/10 would absolutely reccomend.

My first paddle boarding lesson aged 62 with Scott was a wonderful experience. All the staff very friendly and helpful. equipment is provided including flotation jackets and helmets. The lesson went at my pace and yet we were still able to into open water kneeling as I was nervous standing. The instruction was thorough and considerate, would certainly return in the future.

Six of us (4 adults, 2 kids) did funyakking with Sam at Kinlochleven. Sam was incredible -- patient, very safety-aware, and friendly. We were so impressed by how friendly and flexible Vertical Descents were. Thank you for an amazing experience. When the canyoning was cancelling due to high rains, Vertical Descents were again super professional and gave a refund straight away.

First of all, I would like to mention that I am afraid of heights, yet I was able to complete the entire activity with my wife (coasteering). I would like to specifically thanks Scott who was a great guide. He knows what he's doing, the potential dangers, ensures safety at all times, and also knows the history of the place. Scott has excellent mastery of the job and has great knowledge in the field.

Regarding the activity, I recommend that everyone should experience this unique adventure! I am leaving with great memories of the jumps and climbs that we were able to do. Thank you again for allowing us to follow you on this wonderful morning (this Thursday morning), it was just magic for me !

My family and I did the coasteering trip from Fowey and it was great fun. We ranged in age from 8 to 60 and everyone had a fun, challenging, but safe time. Sam and Scott were excellent guides bringing us to spots along the coast and cliffs that I would have never attempted on my own. I will definitely book more trips with Vertical Descents.

Had an excellent experience coasteering with Morgan in Newquay. Our group had 4 with different abilities (me being the least experienced!) We walked to dead man's cove and started our adventure - Morgan was keen to ensure we all felt safe but also instilled a sense of adventure. His knowledge of the coastline was fantastic, giving us little facts and stories as we traversed rocks, scrambled into ravines and jumped into the sea and swam through caves. He was encouraging but never forceful, if we didn't want to do something then we didn't feel any pressure. This is genuinely something that I thought I might not enjoy (or would be terrible at) but I had the best time - as did my husband. It was a thrilling couple of hours and we felt a sense of accomplishment. The company are brilliant and I thought this was great value for money considering how good the experience was. We will definitely return if we are back in Newquay!

My nephew and I did coasteering today, despite the extremely choppy seas and grey weather. It was such a thrill and we felt safe with guide Scott who made sure we went at our own pace but still offered up opportunities to push ourselves, I definitely did more than I thought I would and it was an unforgettable, exhilarating experience. Highly recommend!

Massive thank you to Scott for an awesome coasteering experience in Newquay. This was the first time we’ve tried it and it definitely won’t be our last. Scott was brilliant throughout the experience and worked at what we felt comfortable doing. He’s truly a lovely guy.
