Had a really good rib ride with my daughter (5yrs old). Good safety equipment. Blasted out to the lighthouse. Got to see some seals. Then did some fast turns etc before coming back. While experience was about 45 mins. A bit of commentary around the lighthouse etc would have been good - that’s my only feedback.

I had a really fun mackerel fishing trip! I caught four fishes at once and another three after that. The captain was attentive and explained everything well. When the captain noticed I was getting seasick he kept that in mind. Everyone had a lot of fun and we caught a lot of fish in total!

A truly amazing fishing charter company.
Whilst in St.Ives I did the mackerel fishing and the deep reef fishing, both trips truly amazing, Mackerel fishing with lewis and the deep reef with Sam, a family run professional company, with all the latest equipment. Caught some decent Mackerel day 1 , day 2 large pollock and Rass the other guys on the boat caught Gurnard plenty of fish to take home (the Rass on the photo wasn’t my catch, Michael one or the other guys caught that magnificent specimen) the mackerel tasted amazing. BBQ images, the Pollock was plentiful, filleted and shared amongst the campers

Had 2 trips with Sam this year. Porbeagle fishing and Tuna. We have caught both fish we targeted and had many laughs on the way. Will 100% be booking again. Great days out, great guy.

Have been out with Blufin characters on many occasions now and always had a first class experience, Sam and Neil always put you on the fish there are incredibly experienced and professional and make sure you get the very best out of your time with them , I always recommend them and would not go anywhere else

We really enjoyed our trip with our Skipper James on the fast boat. When we got to the lighthouse, there weren’t many seals, but he turned the boat so everyone could see them. He also answered questions about them and made sure everyone was feeling alright at all times.
All in all, it was so much fun for the whole family and everyone loved it. We enjoyed seeing the lighthouse and wildlife, but also the maneuvers at the end while we were going super fast 🙂

Brilliant experience, well worth the very modest cost. James was excellent, he provided us with a thrilling ride, saw beautiful bird life and seals. Excellent, great for any age, super staff and Jasmine on the 'desk' was a delight. Thank you James and Bluefin Charters.
