Audley End Miniature Railway and Enchanted Fairy and Elf Walk - Saffron Walden

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday plus have a fun family day out, and we weren't disappointed! The miniature railway had so many things to see, and a fun little pack with things to do. The park has so much to do, even for my daughter who is 5 and my son who is only 2. Lots of food options, the pizza looked great and lots of vegan options which was great to see. Already looking to book again for Christmas! This was my wife's 3rd visit and my second visit, never left disappointed!

We visited during the end of school summer holidays. It wasn't too busy. Plenty of parking. Clean facilities and simple layout.
Second time there (years apart) and it just gets better and better. Took my 7, 5 and 1yo plus a friend and her 2yo and they all loved it. The train ride was very entertaining. The playground has something for all ages too. Food service was fast and food is tasty with vegan options too.

Unfortunately my friend's 2yo had a bad fall head first onto concrete by the cafe area (no fault of the venue's) and needed a cold compress and checkup so first aid were called over. The first aid lady arrived very quickly and helped calm and monitor the situation throughout the rest of our visit. Thankfully a hospital trip was avoided. The cafe staff were all very helpful too during the incident. All of the staff were very polite and cheerful. We will return again for sure!

Fantastic experience as a family. Our first trip, so it was nice to see what all the fuss was about. Lovely way to start Christmas.

Highly recommend booking tickets way in advance as alot of friends were unable to visit this year as the demand is very high.

We had a fantastic time at Audley End Christmas family time the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us . Value for the money we spent on the day and the trains are a must I loved them full marks from me and we came down from Scotland on a visit with family will come back in the summer time again many thanks ( Ian )

We visited Audley end during the christmas period and overall it was a great experience. The farther christmas train was great, carrots the elf was our favourite. Our children also loved the carousel and the christmas fairy show.
The only thing that disappointed us was the fairy walk was closed a little bit to early so we couldn't go on it.

Had a lovely day out with two grandchildren. The girls loved the 20 min train ride through the ' Enchanted Wood'
The train stopped at a different area and was met by fairies who directed you to continue on foot and see the many fairy displays. The kids loved it.

We spent a lovely few hours here. Great friendly staff and the decorations were excellent. Really enjoyed the actors at the train stop and it was very spooky travelling on the 5 o’Clock train fun experience travelling in the dark. Highly recommended can’t wait to go back at Christmas.

🕷️ Halloween Special not to be missed 🕷️

We had a fantastic trip to the railway at the weekend, the site looked absolutely spectacular in the dark with thousands upon thousands of twinkly lights, spooky smoke and pumpkins - kids completely mesmerised! We stayed all afternoon, so much to do and see (in addition to the thrilling train ride) including potion making, spooky scarecrows and magic show. As always super clean facilities and amazingly, very little mud! A continually brilliant day out, we’ll be back at Christmas 🎅🏻
