This was the most fabulous tour. Rebecca is a native to the area and extremely engaging and knowledgeable. Conversation flowed easily, and she altered the tour to suit our interests and touring style. I don’t have enough good things to say. We can’t wait to go back for another to another area of beautiful Cornwall from Rebecca at Penelewey tours. It was the highlight of our vacation.

Above and beyond doesn't even begin to capture how Becky approached our tour. We had some fairly unique circumstances and to say Becky delivered on every mark, is an extreme understatement.
We booked a custom tour based on our location and let her know a rough idea of things we'd like to see and handed it over to her and we're so glad we did. The itinerary she came up with was perfection and we would have never discovered most of our favorite stops on our own.
We had the most wonderful day, saw amazing views, hiked a GORGEOUS Cornish coast line, ate delicious food, and had a blast with Becky. If we could book a tour with Becky everywhere we traveled, we would!

During my trip to Cornwall, England, I worked with Becky Frost at Penelewey Tours to create agendas for three separate day trips. Two of these days were to sites across Cornwall (Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow, Carn Galver, Botallack, Land's End, Minack Theatre, Merry Maidens, and St. Michael's Mount).

The real highlight of the trip, though, was a day tailored to visiting sites related to my family's history. Becky took a list of recommendations from a genealogist's report and wove them together into an incredibly memorable day trip. We made stops at four different village churches where my ancestors were baptized, married, and buried. We walked along the beach near where their 1800s cottages once stood, and even hiked to the ruins of a mine where they worked.

I highly recommend touring with Becky. She's a delight, very knowledgeable about local culture and history, and a skilled driver able to expertly navigate Cornwall's intimidating single lane roads nearly swallowed up by the hedgerows. Trusting my travel experiences with Becky eliminated the stress and allowed me to focus on enjoying the experience.

We had a fantastic day with Becky. We designed our own tour as we had certain stops we wanted to see and she was very helpful in designing the perfect itinerary. We needed to bring along the dog and he was made more than welcome. Becky had the crate in the van for him, plus water. She told us lots of stories about the sites, the area, and Cornwall in general. It was the best way to see a variety of sites and she knew the best (and most scenic) routes to take. Don't miss the crab sandwich at Lamorna Cove, delicious! I'm so glad we hired Penelewey Tours, highly recommend.

We had the great pleasure of going on a private tour with Becky, she was amazing and an inspiring lady with many talents. Her vast knowledge, passion and engaging stories of Cornwall made it a truly magical experience for us. One of the loveliest things was that we started off as strangers and ended the tour like we've known each other for years. We will definitely go on another tour with her when we come back. Becky provided an excellent two-day tour of Cornwall for my family of six adults. She explained why the sites we visited are important, so that the entire tour was quite meaningful. She shaped our itinerary a bit to accommodate our requests, including looking for the gravestones of our ancestors in one town. I can't imagine a better, more positive and worthwhile experience. Becky is quite personable. Her tours should be included in every vacation.
