Tipi Adventure - Ross-on-Wye

We had a lovely two nights camping here at Tipi Adventure. Situated right on the river, with stunning views around, including being able to see Goodrich castle right from your pitch!

We were assigned our pitch which had more than enough room, with a park bench too. We stayed at Caribou.

The facilities were great, fairly standard but we were assigned a toilet per pitch and the showers were lovely and warm!

The host was great, and really quick to answer any questions you might have so service was top quality.

Lots to do in the area, from the castle, to canoes and lots of lovely cafes and pubs.

All in all, we had a lovely trip in a lovely campsite!

Liked: Good communication and quick a response to my questions.
We loved the individual allocated toilet.
The showers were good and both facilities were cleaned every day.
Also we arranged for a canoe trip that left from the site , very convenient.
The area was nice and a very good space between the campers .
We will return.

Disliked: Only that the shower was very hot and you could turn it down , although out daughter loved it.

Liked: The facilities were great, with proper toilets and warm showers and washing up facilities. The site itself is beautiful with great views and the river running through which is lovely. We loved that by booking as separate couples, we still all got put together on the same pitch which had plenty of room.

Disliked: A bit noisy on the night with other large groups.

Liked: Loved this campsite! Each pitch had its own picnic bench and neatly cut grass. The toilets were lovely and each had the name of the pitch on, which meant you had your own personal toilet which was a bonus. The shower was wonderful and the location was great right next to the River Wye. Sarah communicated efficiently via WhatsApp and was friendly and helpful. She did come to the site but unfortunately I missed her. I enjoyed the two nights I had here.

Disliked: It’s in a great location apart from the proximity to the nearby motorway. Didn’t notice this in the daytime but did feel I needed my earplugs at night. With these in it wasn’t a problem so I would have no hesitation to recommend this site.

Liked: The area is surrounding with rivers and nice views, a lot of things to explore in the summer.

We are group of 11 and glad to have a spacious space with two sets of camping tables and chairs. Sarah is very detailed, her direction on the pitch is very clear, also very helpful to share informations for water activity which we can join in a very last minutes!

Disliked: All perfect just one small suggestion.
The sign on the road is too small, we missed the road sign two times as going in late evening. Would recommend to make it bigger and change the background color 🙂

Liked: The facilities were fantastic. Proper showers and clean toilets. The pitches were laid out well, with enough space to not feel cramped.
The communication and customer service from the site was brilliant.

Disliked: At night the traffic can be heard.

Liked: Very nice campsite with separate pitches. Got their own section of the river which is delightful. Toilets and showers were satisfactory. Sarah was polite and helpful too

Disliked: Had to park 200meters from our pitch and walk but they have trolley's. That's all that I could think of that I disliked.

Liked: Had a lovely weekend at the campsite. Big field next to the river with lots of space. Good communication with the owner via email. Showers and toilets were clean and new.

Disliked: On the weekend we have not seen the owners, which for some guests meant to do whatever they wanted.
Wat I disliked was the noise coming from the main road that is close, but this is not something you can change.
