Absolutely fantastic! Had the 1 to 1 flight in the 2 seater R22 and loved every minute. Very friendly instructor who made me feel totally relaxed and did not hesitate in getting me up in the air and having a go. Thoroughly recommend it

For Christmas, I was given a 45-minute training flight through red letter days voucher scheme, I was expecting about 30 minutes of flight time and maybe a few minutes of me actually “having a go”.. well, this is not the case.. after a 5-minute safety talk. We were off.. and within 10 minutes it was a case of “you have control”.. thought the flight I quite often gave the control back, just because sensory overload.. Richard (the pilot) was fantastic, he reassures you and encourages you. I was impressed by the distance we covered around Gloucestershire, the views where impressive Heli Air Gloucester facilities are really nice.. This is a red-letter day done right ! no comers cut, 100% recommend..

A grand day. First time in a helicopter since 1973!! Richard was a first class instructor, gave me every confidence and I found that the old skills had not been forgotten. I splendid Red Letter Day. Thank you Helen for arranging it and Richard for everything else!

Such a fantastic experience from take off to landing.
We took the Malvern Hills tour, which was breathtaking!
The warm and friendly welcome from the staff and pilot was another reason for a 5* rating.
We are already planning to take the Wye Valley tour.

An absolutely fantastic day. Richard Tan the pilot was an amazing instructor. He was calm but fun and allowed me to have a go at flying without feeling terrified. The staff were all lovely and I would recommend it to anyone.

I was recently given a 45 minute helicopter training lesson with Heli Air, Richard and Cassy made me feel relaxed and welcome from the start, after a short safely brief we out to the aircraft, all the controls were explained and then we were off. I did not expect to be in control and flying so soon or for quite as long. The static hovering is much harder than it looks. A fantastic experience that I would highly recommend. A huge thank you to both Richard and Cassy for making it a never to be forgotten experience.

Had one of the best experiences in my life, albeit a short one! The 40 minutes literally flew past in my first helicopter flight. I found it so much easier to fly than to hover - both exhilarating. Recommend this experience to anyone.

Very friendly, helpful and professional operation. Max, who handled our booking was great. We did the Malvern flight and Richard, our pilot, was very chatty and knowledgeable. Between them they even managed to arrange some splendid weather! Definitely would recommend Heli Air. A most enjoyable experience and well worth repeating.
