Amazing place full of nature and signs telling you all about the different habits and what creatures called them home. This place is also amazing for people that enjoy bird watching as they also have loads of different platforms to stand behind and take photos. You can also see one of the UK last power plants which is incredible to take a photo of by the water. I would definitely not bring any good shoes during the colder or rainier months as some of the trails can get very muddy. They also have a cafe a gift shop and public bathroom which I missed sadly.

Amazing nature reserve with a range of short, medium and long circular walks around the lakes and riverside. Fantastic nature centre with a great cafe. Free parking for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust members. Only the red trail is currently open.

Lovely place to visit for the day, car park 30mins free, 4 hours £4 or all day £5. Well worth the stay with my grandchild feeding the birds, long walk round the lake but lots of benches. Cafe with toilets and gift shop and a nature area behind cafe with bird viewing points and tiny pond. Plenty of parking places but if it is full there's another parking area on the way out with another walk by the railway line. Plenty of bins, very clean and tidy, perfect to take your dog too.

A fantastic nature reserve to visit. Spent quite some time birdwatching in the hides. A really well stocked gift shop too. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

Brilliant reserve, very big place lots of walks available to different areas. Wildlife is plentiful, and the reserve has a cafe, toilets, and picnic benches. Free to enter, car parking charge if parking but not much. Hides in the reserve also and benches to rest on around the reserve. Notice boards about wildlife and information is good 👍 great for kids! You can cycle around the reserve also. Plenty to see and do.
