We absolutely loved our sunset chaser paddling tour. So lucky with the perfect summer evening weather.
Our guide Paddy was excellent, really friendly, very informative. He led us on a relaxed paddle down the beautiful Beaulieu River. Was a gorgeous way to spend the evening. Definitely recommend New Forest Activities.

We chose a beautiful sunny day to go out on the river and it was so worth it! 4 of us hired single kayaks and headed out with a few other groups onto the water.
This place is tucked down a long gravel drive, feels like you're going the wrong way but trust the sign posts! The instructors were well organised, the car park is small but they show you where to park. There are a few toilets and changing rooms on site, a place to get drinking water, picnic benches, bins and an honesty shop.
We were given buoyancy aids, a map and dry bags to take with us, and then taken down the path to the river. The instructor showed us how to paddle and advised us which direction to go based on the tides, and off we went! They are fairly relaxed with time, we rode back ourselves and put the kayaks back where we found them.
The kayaks are very robust, I didn't feel like I'd fall out at any point. We paddled down to Buckler's Hard and then back up the river to Beaulieu. It's quite a windy river but was quite quiet for other boats. We saw jellyfish in the river that day too!
My top tips would be: bring closed top shoes (I didn't but luckily they let me continue), your bum, legs and feet will get very wet so dress appropriately, bring a drink with you and take lots of photos!
We will definitely be coming back!

A 2 hour paddle on the river Beaulieu viewing the birds, boats and scenery was a great way to appreciate this part of the New Forest.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful making it memorable experience. The honesty coffee/tea bar was nice to have on hand.

We were supplied and fitted with buoyancy aids and given a safe place to store our car keys and phones!

Overall a great experience, we'd go again another time.

I’ve done two courses with Liquid Logistics now: their pool kayak rolling course with Steve, and their “Discover Sea Kayaking” trip with Tom. Both were just brilliant!

I learned a lot on both, and the sea kayaking day was especially excellent; Tom was a brilliant coach, he really helped me to nail a few techniques I’d been struggling with, and our journey down the Beaulieu to Lepe was an incredible day, with a great mixture of learning and adventure. I can’t wait to do one of their Explore Sea Kayak days now!

With the sea being a risky environment for those of us with less experience, it’s so good to have a highly experienced guide to help us through journeys, building confidence and helping us to develop our knowledge and skills.

I highly recommend Liquid Logistics to anyone wanting to develop their paddling skills while having a really good day out on the water in beautiful surroundings!

Very good experience with Canoeing. The staff were not only very helpful but also very informative and entertaining throughout the ride. The ride in the lake is very scenic and pleasant. We did this activity twice and enjoyed both times. There are toilets and parking at the meeting point before the ride begins from where we will be taken to the lake and will be given instructions of how to paddle. From there, it will all be fun.

We had a wonderful time trying out some different boats on the Discover Paddlesports course. A special thanks to our instructor Ami, who was just incredible; very friendly & approachable but her teaching was thorough and enabled us to leave feeling confident and as though our techniques had vastly improved. All of the staff there are lovely and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. We will definitely be booking on to our next course very shortly and look forward to coming back!
