Took my nephew paddleboarding with me and my partner, decided to go to leam boat centre as he could hire one for a couple of hours to see if he likes it etc, safe to say he had the best time! Me and my partner launched from their site (£4 each) and off up the river leam we went, he enjoyed it that much that he’s eager to borrow my other board and sup with us again!

This is a must do activity in Leamington Spa!
My son (aged 9) has tried the after school kayak club, and now just completed his Paddle Explorer intermediate course - which he absolutely loved!
They learnt about water safely , helping others who have capsized, and so much more!

We hired the mega-sup, and it was simply awesome! The kids had a fantastic time jumping in off the board and climbing back on board... and so did the adults. A fantastic afternoon paddling. The staff at Leam Boat Centre were super helpful, accommodating us all regardless of our paddling experience, and really took a lot of time to help me understand the nuances between types of kit too. I’ve been using leam boat centre for around 20 years now. I’ve always had great service from the amazing team. Recently I wanted to get my boys into paddling. So booked a children’s party and a set of lessons for them. I was so impressed by both. All the kids at the party had the best time.
My boys absolutely loved the lessons too. Shame google only allows 5 stars as leam boat centre is 10 stars!

Just back from a 3 day sea kayak trip in north devin with Matt and Sophie leading and plenty of support from trainee instructor Jon. Wow what a trip. I haven’t been kayaking for some years and I felt is such safe hands.

It was evident that such a huge amount of care went into planning the trip, making sure we all had the right kit, great welcome instructions, informative briefings, brilliant on the water instruction at just the right level for all of us. Really well thought through and catered for every eventuality with the unpredictable sea conditions.

Not only great to see the incredible wildlife, seals, jellyfish, bird life, but stunning coastal scenery and lighthearted, warm and welcoming company. Couldn’t stop grinning for 3 days.
Can’t recommend Leam Boat Centre enough. I’ll be back on the water again soon for sure. thank you team!

Just to say my whole experience from the initial phone call enquiry as I was looking for a place to do a kayaking course as I’m taking part in the Coast 2 Coast multi sport 2 day event which involves 70km level 2 rapid river. So the Leam boat facility has it all ..!!! The staff are all so knowledgeable and friendly and happy to help anyone I have also booked on kayaking course as I need to have a level 2 certification. Just to say thank you to Sophie as she is and all of the staff as they were very helpful on the first session. She kept the group together and kept a watchful eye on our progress.
I can’t wait to go back next Thursday.

Centre as a whole is just amazing all the staff so welcoming. On my course my instructor Sophie was truly amazing. could not recommend the place enough and I will be back for more.
