Came here to do parkrun, was not disappointed. Lovely trails well maintained grounds. Lots of play areas and things to keep the children occupied.
Very friendly locals. Had coffee, bacon butty and cake back at the visitor centre.
There was ample Car parking in multiple areas and was payment via Ringo App by the hour, parkrunners could display their barcode and get an hour free.
I’m disappointed that I didn’t take more photos.
A new toilet block had recently opened adjacent the park and field. Alternative toilets at the visitor area

We came here yesterday and really loved it. There's a lovely cafe to start which sells a nice range of basic but nice food. There's plenty of seating, and they are in the process of doing the toilets and surrounding buildings and car parks up.

There are a few way marked trails, but these are slightly confusing as the colours on the map don't seem to match the coloured arrows on the ground. The park is well managed and has plenty to see.

Walked in the nature reserve. Found the signing poor for the paths & ended up in a very boggy area. Caught so wildlife on camera though, so all good.

Great place to enjoy walking around, tracks that take you around a large area of open fields, pass over the river itchen, see fish swimming, butterflies, dragonflies and birds in abundance. Plenty of play space for kids of all ages. There is carparking to pay. I live local so opted to walk from my home about a mile & half away.

Love this place it has something for everyone. Nice woodland walks with play and climbing features throughout to entertain the kids. Longer walks for those that want it. A large park for older kids. The cafe is great with plenty of outside seating (some under cover incase the good old British weather plays up). And a smaller park for the younger kids. Toilets situated near the cafe. There is also Go-Ape climbing activity that can be paid.
They are fitting a barrier system to control and enforce parking charges. Not sure what will happen when it comes into use, but up until now disabled parking has been free.

There's plenty of parking (I went on a Saturday about 11.30am) and the parking prices weren't too bad considering the park was free to enter other than that.
We walked around the brown trail but it wasn't obvious where to start from and I think we went the wrong way. There wasn't many posts on the way round to show you were on the right track.
The main field area next to the car park was nice and spacious and there's a little playground there if you're taking kids, plus plenty of benches to sit down at.
The only disappointing bits were the lack of decent signage about where to start walks and posts showing you are on the right track and that they advertise a river walk on all the signs but it seems you can't do that anymore. Also there is no real path for the meadow walk and the first bridge we came to was questionable to cross on that trail.
Overall it was a nice walk, even though we got a bit lost, and we would go again.

Great country park with plenty to do for children and walks for dogs. The car park charges are reasonable too, especially all day. The cafe isn't large, but the food is good and everything is kept clean with plenty of space inside and out to sit. We aren't local, but we go here quite often when visiting and have used the Go Ape on a number of occasions. Would recommend.
