What has happened to this place? When I worked in the area, I used to regularly visit the garden, shop and cafe I and regularly attended events here. Being in the area today, I decided to forego the lunch and instead come here but what a disappointment. Everything is closed and a lot of it looked derelict. No shop,no cafe, when I finally managed to find someone, they had no more idea what had happened. There was a bell to ring, but no-one replied. It used to be such a warm welcoming place and now nothing.

Lovely small gardens. Loads to see and learn about composting, crop rotation and comfrey, including the national collection of comfrey. Veg and flowers are interplanted so it all looks very pretty. Some good ideas for planting in pots, insect hotels and ponds to take away and try at home. Very interesting visit.

Fabulous place. Great for families photographers and fresh air. So many varieties of plants and tree's. A play area for kids The Cafe is nice even the outdoor area good coffee ☕ and cake 🍰 I've not tried the Sunday dinner but it's always booked up so that's a good sign. There's so much more to explore than meets the eye.

Excellent charity doing amazing work to highlight organic gardens and preserve valuable seeds for future generations. If you haven't looked before, I would recommend joining Garden Organ to support and get access rare vegetable seeds and gardening information.

Fantastic day out, gardens are beautiful, diverse and interesting and the café served a delicious lunch with plenty of meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend!
