This Travelodge is on a busy toad junction and next to fast food outlets and a petrol station which is convenient but can make the area a little noisy. However, this time we were in a room at the back overlooking the park, which was very quiet.||The hotel was clean, our room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were lovely.||On this occasion we had a dog with us, and think £20 is a lot to pay for a dog. We've paid £10 in better hotels. However, if you do take a dog, there is a lovely park that is conveniently close by for walks.||But a good overnight stop, and better than some other Travelodges.||

Our stay was what you expect from Travelodge - good price, comfortable and clean, no frills but has what you need. I feel this kind of place is good for short visits if you’re not looking to spend lots (although oddly, my brother needed a single occupancy room, but still I could only seem to book a family size room for him - he paid the same price as my room, which had my husband and I and our 10 year old son). I do miss having the option of a decent breakfast, you can order a breakfast bag though but it just didn’t really appeal to me, but burger king and subway are nearby for food if you’re ok with that kind of food! It is also next to a petrol station with a small shop which is handy, it has some basics eg toiletries if you’ve forgotten something. No lift, so if you’re disabled ask if you can get a ground floor room. We forgot! But you do get value for money here, clean and comfortable with good size rooms, we had a good night sleep.

We spent two nights here when visiting Alton Towers. Rooms clean, comfy beds and pillows and clean bathrooms. It had a hot shower, which was just what we needed when we got back from the park soaking wet after an evening of rain. Tea/coffee in bedroom. Basic but great.

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend. We were greeted by a polite member of staff on reception. The room was clean and tidy however, the bed wasn't very comfortable and there was some noise from people outside in the night (it does have a petrol station and burger right outside so maybe not ideal. The location isn't the best for accessing the motorway and there is quite a bit of traffic on a weekday morning. Did the job for what was needed.

Tired rooms but served their purpose. Off the forecourt of a garage and burger king. Town centre easily accessible. Certainly not justifiable of a cost of £100 per night, mid week, off peak.

Convenient location. After a long day at Alton Tower's Scarefest it was ideal.||It was close to the M6 and we actually passed the Hotel on the way. ||We found a lovely garden centre nearby too
