You get what you pay for, so cheap rooms sub £50, your expectations are not too high. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was basic as expected. Had a bit of a funky chemical cleaning smell, but the whole hotel seemed to. The room was clean, but if you looked in the corners, it showed it signs of wear and tear. The rooms at the rear were very quiet. Parking is strange as you have to pay at the machine/online but also register in the hotel, seems weird that you have to do both.

Just spent 3 nights at Stafford Central over the Christmas period. The manager is an absolute legend and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay! Honestly, nothing was too much trouble, a credit to Travelodge, Also, the young lady on reception Christmas Day and Boxing Day was a ray of sunshine. These 2 staff members in particular made our stay all the more enjoyable. The hotel & rooms were spotlessly clean. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Two night stops with business. Was excellent and will base myself here when on the road, or passing by. Excellent location not far off M6! Staff friendly and polite, swiftly checked in. Rooms are clean and well presented. Exactly what I needed for a good night's sleep

The bathroom smelt of dirty drains and the shower had quite a few hairs in it which says to me it’s not been cleaned properly. It also had a lot of soap scum. Bring an extra long phone charger as there were no plugs close to the bed. The bedding was inside out? Also no toilet brush etc. Lady on reception couldn’t be anymore helpful! You also have to pay for parking which is a slight inconvenience as this wasn’t made known prior.

Enjoyed my stay at travel lodge, Alison was extremely helpful guiding me to my room and explaining everything i needed to know for my short stay over. Offered me extra tea or coffees if needed and the room was clean and tidy upon on my arrival..

Hotel Manager Duncan was a huge help and very friendly - I’ve seen a huge improvement to standards since he took over Stafford Central, the hotel is very clean and welcoming.|Great prices - staff are always on hand if you need anything and are more than happy to help.

I stopped here for break from were i live worst experience ever 🙃 people talking loudly in hallway all night left after 5hrs iv just read policy are carparking 4.00 for 24hrs it doesn't say anywhere that you're parking ticket as to be logged into travelodge booking system as there are cctv cameras on there 🙄 i bought ticket piad for my 24hrs i piad the right amount you don't seem to have many good reviews about this travelodge in central Stafford filthy rooms bathrooms 5hrs hours i was there never stop there again
