Green World Holidays adventure week on Brac island Croatia was nothing short of amazing! Everything from ferry rides to/from Split, apartment accommodations, and family activities were top notch!

Brac island is an absolute dream! Safe, clean, lots of gorgeous beaches, plenty of restaurants and nightly entertainment like ABBA & 80’s concerts! Morning coffee & fresh pastries must, plus gelato on every corner.

Bretia Apartments were conveniently located 5 minute walk to town with grocery store across the street. Great pool, free use of bikes, and available washer made it feel like home. GWH provided reusable canvas bags to save on plastic, which was a nice touch.

Adventures included sea kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking, and rock climbing. Our family of 4 loved them all, especially rock climbing & SUP. Plus we typically had down time on the same days to explore more beaches or just take an afternoon nap!

Tour guides Daniel, Eti, Tin, and Russ are amazing people who have extensive knowledge of Croatia & Brac and were happy to assist for any activities we wanted on off days. Always friendly when running into them in town, cracking funny jokes, and encouraging us on adventures, especially the rock climbing.

Other activities we did was a day in Supetar in the beach cove for the kids to play on the inflatables, go down the slides, and enjoy another area of the island. The Shepherds Walk was a true highlight, where all families in our group participated on the drive up to the highest point in Brac, take in the beautiful views, then a downhill walk to Shepherds Village to enjoy traditional peka dish, excellent wine, delicious dried figs.

Favorite part of the entire trip was meeting fun families that we immediately bonded with! Kids aged between 10-18, most in the 12-15 age range. Some instant friendships for sure!

We traveled from the US so spent a couple days in Split to get used to the time change before the tour start. We were able to buy beach towels and water shoes (if needed) at the grocery store or local shops.

What a fantastic week! We felt very looked after from making the initial enquiry online to every activity. The information sent on the run up to departure with recommended packing was a god send. Each day plenty of detailed information was given about the following day’s activities, all of which were organised perfectly. The additional optional activities on rest days added even more to an already packed agenda, although there was plenty of down time in between for the families to get to know each other. Russell and Brett pre holiday made me feel very confident about the holiday and then Bariša and Iva during the holiday not only took care of everything they gave great advice about the local area for walks and food. My son struggled during the start of the canyoning and Brett stayed with him until he gained the confidence to go off with the rest of the group. I would highly recommend this for any families with teenagers who are not into sitting around a pool all holiday!

Superb active holiday for families with teenagers on Brač. Sutivan is a perfect, beautiful and unspoilt base, the accommodation is excellent and the activities were the right balance of fun and challenge. Daniel is an amazing guide, helping the families get to know each other, giving the teenagers the confidence to explore Sutivan on their own in the evening and sharing his passion and knowledge of Brač with generosity and humour.

What an amazing holiday with our 3 teen daughters. It was challenging, exhilarating and most of all so much fun. Lots of new experiences but what made it extra special were the other families that joined us in our week and most of all our guides Iva and the most amazing Barisa who made this adventure what it was. We booked an active Omiš week from Canada after we decided on visiting Croatia while hoping for a structured, active part that might involve a social aspect too. Expectations met x 1000!
Well organized, terrific communication throughout, amazing tour leaders, fun activities in truly wonderful town. With all the salt water swimming, the fresh water in the river was very refreshing each day.
We lucked out with perfect weather and the most incredible families to spend a week with. Organized activities left time for relaxing and doing our own thing if we wished.
Adults and kids decided the best vacation ever!!

Bariša is an amazing human and a wonderful guide. He took care of us and our kids like his personal guests. Iva was alongside Bariša to guide and motivate us throughout when the going got hard.

This was the best summer holiday we have ever had. Following a disastrous and pretty boring beach holiday last year, we decided to get active for this year's summer break. We booked the Croatia water sports week and absolutely loved it. We met some wonderful families to share the experience with and the kids were in their element. Marija, Barisa & Sara were wonderful local hosts and went out of their way to make sure all activities were not just fun but safe too. The kids absolutely loved them. So, if you are looking for a fun-packed holiday, to keep the whole family entertained in a beautiful country, this is the one to book!
