Highly recommend Louise ( manager) at Hays Travel metro green.
I had some concerns with a booking for september this year and she went above and beyond to resolve the situation.
Louise put me back at ease and helped change our hotel with no problem at all reasuring me all the way....

We had a holiday booked for the 11th July 2020, we were unsure whether it was going to go ahead but about 2 weeks before we were informed it would be cancelled. My partners parents were also on the booking so we made the decision to receive a refund which after receiving the invoice from TUI took Hays 12-14 days to refund us and we have now booked a Mexico trip for next year!! Such amazing and friendly service by Meg and all of the team at Hays 🙂

Walked in for currency, the exchange rates were not displayed, and I was asked "what's the best price you have been quoted" it kind of put me on the back foot, and I asked whats the best price you can offer me? Unfortunately their rate wasn't as good as the TUI shop.

Walked in and waited for 40 mins and was told we wouldn't be able to get a quote for our honeymoon to Maldives. Staff just looked miserable and not wanting to help. We were getting all excited to book a holiday and just felt flat and deflated after being in this travel agency. Won't be going back and won't advise people to go there.

Our holiday was cancelled in April due to COVID-19 at no fault to Hays or the Tour Operator. So we were told we would get a full refund. However this could not be processed until the Tour Operator supplied Hays with a Refund Invoice.
At the beginning of June a Hays member of staff telephoned us to say they were in receipt of the Invoice and a refund would be paid within 14 Days.
It is now approaching the end of July and Hays have failed to refund the money, they now say they have to wait for the funds from the Tour Operator, incidentally the Tour Operator have been spoken to and confirm that Hays have received the money.
What rubs salt in the wound is if you telephone Hays the introductory recorded message states, if you are awaiting a refund this will only be paid once they receive the ‘Refund Invoice’ and will be paid within 14 days.

Someone at Hays needs to take responsibility and sort this situation ASAP
