Fantastic Service from Tunbridge Wells to London

I recently traveled with 888 taxi’s on their coach service from Tunbridge Wells to London, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable for my entire family.

The driver was professional, courteous, and ensured a smooth ride throughout the trip. We appreciated the punctuality, as the coach arrived on time and got us to our destination as scheduled.

Overall, I highly recommend 888 for anyone seeking a reliable and comfortable transportation service. We’ll definitely use them again in the future!

I’ve used Tunbridge Wells 888 Taxis several times, and they’ve always been reliable and professional. The drivers are friendly and make the journey comfortable. DRIVERS ARE DISHONEST. READ ON...

Quite simply the drivers will overcharge and rip you off whenever possible.

1st taxi - quoted £10-£11 to travel from the station to Salomon estates by the call centre when I booked. Driver charged £15 and said that was the fare

2nd taxi - same trip but reverse. Driver asked for £20 until I told him I was charged £15 on way there. He then proceeded to say he couldn't be arsed to call the office and would charge me £15.

To anyone from the office reading this. I urge you to listen to your supposed recorded calls to see you quoted me one price while the driver ripped me off both time. And before anyone says - there were 0 road closures and 0 diversions.

An absolute joke of a company with thieves as drivers if I'm honest. No display of mileage or prices at all while enroute.

Having worked in the taxi industry I'm quite satisfied most of the reviews on Google are by drivers themselves or friends/family members of drivers. I know this because every 5 star review appears to be from people who only have 1 or 2 reviews which is convenient!!

I would honestly avoid unless you have 0 choices or options. Having used taxis all over the UK and even abroad. This company is one of the more questionable dodgy ones.

I gave it 2 stars for a reason 1- because I got there. And 2 because they bought me back.

Additional notes - absolute lies about the luggage. I had a gym bag and backpack with me. What do you mean I had more luggage. If I did have additional luggage why did the driver not mention that at all. He instantly relented after I said I paid £15 on the way up. I mean who genuinely would instantly drop £5 of the bill if that was the genuine price. Please stop trying to smooth things over with lies.

Also give the fact you've tried to palm me off with absolute lies I've reduced the rating to 1.

I normally use 888 taxis but not anymore as my taxi was late and driver was rude!!! people on the phones were useless and there English was very limited. I personally won’t be using this taxi service again as I didn’t fill welcome or safe. I asked for Danny and was told he is no longer with the company wish was very unfortunate as he would off sorted the problem straight away.

I took a taxi to the airport with this company. They told me on the phone it would be £75 and I could pay by card. When I was in the car, the taxi went a long way around, pulled over to a card machine and asked me to take cash out instead. Then once I got to the airport they told me it was £85 and did not give me change for my £80. When I first called to complain whilst in the taxi they told me they would the taxi driver, which they did not do. They then called me and said they would send a text to refund the difference , but this didn't happen. This seemed like an intentional scam and also delayed my arrival. Do not use this company.
