Just had a booking threw aa road side recovery they kindly booked a taxi 65 miles for us with it taking them so long to sort transport there was 2 of us but they only paid for 1 drop off we expand to the driver there's 2 roots same distance to the 1st drop of can he drop the other person off he said no he will lose money he wanted £42 extra I've just sat in the taxi from the turn off to my home it was 3.1m so they wanted £42 for a 6 mile detour not happy at all for such a expensive drive on a slow night of the week you would have thought they would have been willing to help! Wouldn't use again when in the area. Rip off

Booked a taxi a week in advance for a special occasion. Booked in plenty of time to allow for traffic ect! 35 minutes late and ruined the surprise as I needed to be at my destination for 6:00pm. I didn’t arrive while 6:25pm.
Phoned the company several times and was told the driver had picked another fair up and got stuck in rush hour traffic at cottonwood. Not the first time they have done this. I booked a taxi 1 hour before I needed to be at the train station. The taxi was over 45 minutes late as he decided to pick up another fair also. Seems pre booking a taxi is no longer the norm as drivers don’t turn up any way. Safe to say I will NOT be using this company again.

This was my first time using platinum Travel Barnsley for my airport run, to and from Manchester, the driver mark was very friendly and professional and went the extra mile... I would definitely recommend this company ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Booked to go to a wedding in Lancashire. Driver turned up on time helped us all with our luggage both there and on the journey back. And we asked if he could pick us up earlier than booked on the return trip and he duly obliged. Wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend this company.

Used Platinum Travel for a return airport run. Shah took us on the 25th Oct and Dave picked us up this morning on 3rd Nov. Both lovely chaps, couldn't do enough for us and made our journeys to and from Manchester comfortable and relaxing. Their vehicles were immaculate and well maintained. Will definitely use Platinum in future and will request both drivers. A massive Thankyou to both of them 😃

I recently took a taxi from Barnsley town centre to my home, a journey of about 2.5 miles and under 10 minutes. During this short trip, the driver made offensive and unnecessary comments, stating that there used to be "too many Polish people here" (I am Polish!!) and now there's "too many Romanians." I found these remarks deeply inappropriate.

On top of this, I was charged £8.50 for a journey that has never cost me more than £5 before. To add to the unpleasantness, the car smelled really bad and clearly hasn't been washed for a while.

We got a taxi last night, me and my partner asked for a big car due to the amount of bags and boxes we had due to taking things back home with us. The taxi driver was very rude to me telling me to hurry up and muttering things under his breathe, I nearly had to pay for another taxi because he said he couldn't fit all of it in and also not feeling comfortable being in the car with him, he also stood outside his car while we was unloading everything and just stood there and didn't help us?. Although this was a bad experience not all drivers I've come across are like this some are really nice.

Excellent service as always, I left my phone in the back of the taxi yesterday evening (9/8/24). My son managed to contact the driver and within 10 mins the phone was returned. Brilliant drivers and first rate service. Thank you
