Hi,

I just wanted to warn people against using AXA travel insurance if you are considering buying travel insurance. I wish I had read their reviews before hand. They literally leave you out to die, with 5 hour energy phone line waits, delay tactics and strong arm you into not taking medical help before they confirm it's covered which they drag out for days and weeks. If you take any medical help before they have approved it they call it a pre-existing condition.

I don't want anyone else here to suffer like I have. Do not use AXA.

Absolutely dreadful company. Will search every avenue to avoid paying out. Declined a claim for a minor (3 months old) claiming pre existing conditions. Soleless money churners who do not help the insurance companies public image. Avoid at all costs.

Appalling. Axa Health asked for a 24 hour window to decide whether to cover in an emergency situation. Inhumane, and added further stress in an already awful situation. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Denied my health claim and were unable to articulate why, they just quoted policy wording.
I relentlessly followed up and they behaved like a bunch of sharks!
