Booked an hours hack out for my cousins two grandchildren when they came to stay with me the youngest was a little nervous as she’s only ridden in a school so I booked a space as well. Had the loveliest hack out we walked, trotted and cantered. Friendly staff, horses looked extremely well cared for and happy and we all had such a great time that we booked another hack on the day they left and despite the rain we had another awesome hack. I would highly recommend and no problem giving 5 gold stars 🌟

We stayed in the log cabins here for 4 nights.

This was a lovely place for a hack while we were on holiday! My partner is a beginner but I got to do some lovely canters while he trotted. Staff were v friendly; horses calm and well-trained.

Absolutely brilliant! I have been riding for years, but recently lost my confidence, so I booked a hack. They were all so friendly, understanding and kind and I had a fantastic ride on a lovely horse 😊 I'll definitely be back!

Had the most amazing morning again here on the adult morning great group of ladies and everything and everyone is so great . Had great lesson from George who is very patient with us all , always great to have a refresher lesson . Horses are so well behaved and also very versatile the best looking riding school horses and ponies I have come across the riding school is a credit to the family . I look foreword to many more visits there .

An affordable group hack for a hen do! Instructor was fabulous however did push myself the novice to do a more advanced trot which I was not comfortable with. The volunteer did not seem sure of herself or the horse but did her best!

Highly recommend Penycoed ! Fantastic ride through the trails. Extremely patient instructors and guides. Kids loved the ride and the cafe! Fab !!
