We have just moved into our dream home thanks to Osprey Property in Oundle - and more specifically to the manager, Angela.
It has been quite a journey, but we are extremely glad that we went with our initial instinct when choosing an estate agent, because we truly believe it could not have happened without her.
Angela first viewed the property we were selling nearly a year ago, and gave us a good but achievable valuation. She obviously understood the property’s unique selling points, of which there were many, so we felt comfortable that she would convey the right message to prospective buyers.
Angela accompanied all viewings and gave us immediate feedback. Within a few weeks she had obtained a full asking price offer.
Due to the price of our property there was inevitably a chain, and unfortunately a couple of months later the bottom end fell through. At around the same time we also encountered some family health issues.
Angela was great at supporting our decision-making as we navigated these twin hiccups, applying no pressure but helping us to think things through. Finally, we decided to stay more locally than we had originally anticipated. This led us to viewing the property we now own, which by chance was also on the market with Osprey.
We immediately fell in love with this property, but there were still to be some hurdles with the bottom end of the chain. Angela managed these with patience and persistence, obtaining information and communicating with us on a regular basis, so we were informed of progress and prepared for challenges. We have moved quite a few times now and have never had such a proactive estate agent.
On exchange and completion dates we were in constant contact, which was so reassuring as we are not people who like to be left wondering what’s going on!
There were a few occasions when this move could have gone awry, but we got there in the end, and honestly could not be happier.
We would not hesitate to recommend Angela and Osprey to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Oundle area – you will absolutely be in the best of hands.

We had a fantastic experience selling our house through Osprey.

Angela helped to give us strong guidance on how best to stage our home for the photos and viewings... this undoubtedly helped as we had significantly more positive response from viewings than we had when listed with a previous agent. This turned into a high level conversion of viewings to offers.

Osprey ask you to pay for photos, but this was a negligible cost and worth every penny. The photos were exceptional and made our house look like a showhouse! Ironically, it was the same photographer who took our photos who had previously photographed our house for another agent we used initially - this other agent didn't charge us for photos, but the difference in the time and effort he went to was huge! Don't be fooled by the false economy of other agents offering 'free' photos.

The attention to detail of obtaining as much information about our property and the area was used fully by Angela on viewings to make sure that prospective buyers were given a really good sales pitch on everything there was to love about our home.

Having received and accepted an offer which Angela negotiated for us, Osprey were proactive at keeping us informed of progress on our buyer's side and facilitating with solicitors to ensure the process moved forward smoothly.

Overall, every stage of the process was exceptional and we really loved how we were given direct feedback on how best to prepare and stage our home... We were made to feel like the agent wanted to achieve the best outcome for us.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Osprey highly enough over others... truly deserving of 5 stars!
