Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, well appointed rooms. Honesty box with crisps, bottled water & chocolate was perfect when we got in late and all the takeaways were shut. A very warm welcome when we arrived. Amazing range of beers at the bar and locals very friendly. Thoroughly recommend

Service was great and helpful. Reception is not 24 hours but check in and check out was simple. There are quite a lot of stairs and no lift, which was difficult. The receptionist went around the corner to the butcher shop to find someone to help my bags, which was so sweet of her. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable
The only thing is that the chair in the room was extremely filthy and disgusting. It grossed me out. There were pieces of food on it and it clearly hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long.

I didn't stay at the motel so I'm only reviewing the bar. This is a place you should visit if you're a true beer lover! They have a great selection of craft, local and continental beers, the staff have great knowledge of beers and local brewers. Rye has the other famous micropub, but I feel the bar at the Regent deserves more attention as it's truly a hidden gem. I would heartily recommend a visit

We stayed here for 1 night on 25/2/23 as a couple. We were greeted by 2 staff, a male and a female, both were superb hosts.||The room was called Beach, it smelt fabulous and was spotlessly clean, light and airy, a bit like staying with friends in many ways, bigger and brighter than your average hotel room, and all the better for it. ||Limited car parking at the rear is a real bonus, and inexpensive. There is a bar, but no food is served, and it is not always staffed, although there are contact numbers on reception should you need anyone. Breakfast can be found at many cafes nearby, and the Regent makes a great base to explore Rye, we will return.

Lovely little, unassuming from the front, motel, 5 mins from the cobbled old town. Lovely room with a gorgeous shower. Great little bar right underneath. Very friendly staff. Rey is very pretty and there's loads to do around and about. Had a lovely stay!

We stayed at this motel and it is lovely. Maybe nothing very fancy, but the rooms were recently refurbished and decorated to a good standard. The rooms had a lovely smell, the bathroom was clean and tidy. The location is perfect to most of the historic places of Rye and to pubs, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend.

The Regent Hotel is a fantastic location and served our purpose really well. It has on sight parking and is within easy walking distance to the high street, the railway station and all pubs and restaurants. Each room is individually decorated, our room being the Beach Room. Completely refurbished with modern bathroom & king size bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Spencer’s Bar at the front was good fun.
