I'd seen Kelham Island's Food Tours advertised on Facebook, so booked on their first business-oriented networking event, which combined a lovely, gentle and informative walking tour of some of the local Kelham eateries and landmarks with a networking event for local businesses.
I moved my electronics repair business down to Kelham a few months ago, so I was keen to meet local business owners, and I was not disappointed!
It was a lovely atmosphere; everyone was so genuine, and it was refreshing to not feel 'pressured' into making contacts in the traditional business networking event-type way.
Sophie seemed very pleased with the turn out, and everyone agreed that this could become a regular event and I would most certainly book again!
Oh, and as a Party Bonus, the food was ALL delicious, and this has encouraged me to frequent the local Kelham eateries more often!
I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to try something different, and I'll be keeping a sharp eye out for further tours and announcements.
All in all, this was a Friday lunchtime/afternoon well spent!

We did the food tour and can highly recommend. As well as finding out lots of interesting facts about the area from our tour guide we visited bars and pubs we didn't know existed. The food and drink at each stop was fantastic and a great variety. In all the tour offered great value for money and was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
