Perfect spot for a little get-away/family camping vacay! Especially for the kiddos. They have a very nice and clean swimming pool with a shelter and picnic tables as well as a swimming pond with what appear to be very new inflatables. In addition they have put-out golf, shuffleboard (I believe that's what it's called) and an outdoor bounce bubble. I stayed in a deluxe cabin with my 14 year old son which could easily accommodate up to 6 people. The cabin was super clean and had everything you'd need for cooking, minus a few larger items (like a griddle). Overall, highly recommend. Staff was great for me personally.

Overall experience was a 4. There were some areas that were not so great, but other areas were amazing.

Campsite: Overnight camping does not seem to be their top priority. The sites were small and not well kempt. The sites that look like a standard pull through are actually back in for 2 campers. Making for short and narrow sites. The water is also far from some of the sites. We had to put a hose extension on to make it reach, which we have never had to do before.

Bath house: They were clean and provided privacy and space. However, they were very hot and smelled a bit of sewer. The shower water was hot. The bathhouse nearer the pool, pond, and activities was nicer.

Activities: This is where they shine. The swimming pond is amazing. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was present to maintain the rules. There was plenty of seating, and the beach area was great. The pool was also very clean and well maintained. There wasn't anything extra at the pool, but it was nice for a cool dip and relaxation. The putt putt was a little run down, but the kids liked it. The only issue was the lack of balls. One day, there were about 6 total, and the next, it was down to three. Shuffle board, horseshoes, a park, and an inflatable jump pillow were also available. They had planned activities for the kids, including a nice hay ride. There was also a band and food truck on Saturday.

Staff: They were nice enough. I didn't feel like they cared too much about customer service, mostly just getting the job done.

Fishing pond: See the pictures ?

Major issue: There is a major lack of lighting. The path to the bathhouse from overnight camping sites is not lite. It was very dark at night, and the sidewalk is not even at all. Also, there is no lighting in the park at night, making it almost impossible to use after dark.

It was nice to have a cabin to visit my family. However, for the price, it's not good at all. I stayed in a deluxe cabin that has a queen bed, a futon, and bunk beds. It is air conditioned, has a fridge and stove, with a full bathroom. The only reason for the low rating is because nowhere, while booking, does it mention that there won't be any bedding (pillows, blankets, etc.) or any towels. The rate is over $200/ night, and they don't even give you a heads up to bring that stuff. Now it's camping, so I guess it's understandable, but the real kicker was the lack of hot water. I was lucky enough to still be awake at 3am so I managed to be able to get a solid 20 seconds of hot water before it switched to ice cold like it was for the rest of our stay. I don't recommend staying here.

This place has ruined camping for me and my family. They are extremely expensive and the campgrounds are run down. The sites are small, the electricity charge is high, they shut the pond down early, the bounce pillow is a gamble if it’s open or not, Regina in the office is rude, stuff was stolen from our site and all they say is we will make a note, the blowups in the pond are held together with duct tape, basketball court is a joke, the grass at the playground is alway long, store has little to no selection, they don’t trim the trees if there is lightning within 30 miles of the campground they shut the pond and pool down even when the skies are clear there. They are more expensive than KOA and the place is run down, the fishing pond was completely covered by algae where you couldn’t even fish. I could go on and on with this corporate owned campground. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Great campground for kids, lots to do. Band was great Saturday evening. Golf carts are welcome and can be rented, but rent it when you book your site. Restrooms could have been a little better, but not bad.

Great looking when you come into the park. We were looking for a seasonal site for 3-4 months in the summer, and thought we had found it. A little pricey, but we thought it would be tolerable with the amenities for the grand kids. It has great amenities for kids including pool, jumping pillow, playground, and, inflateadles. Then you look at the sites, they were muddy and really uneven, not sure in some spots if a car could fit on the sites even with a tent. It looks like they took land anyplace they could and wedged in a site. There were some nice well portioned sites, but we were told these sites never come open. The roads outside the front are dirt and pot holed. When we were there it had rained and there were puddles everywhere, a mess for the car. Then in the dry times you would have problems with dust. Very disappointed in this campground. It is a "camping resort" owned by a corporation, I expected better. ?

While I was nervous reading some of the bad reviews, I am so glad that we chose to try it ourselves! We went for Father’s Day weekend and had the most amazing time! Our family has done a lot of traveling, a lot of experiences and even been to Disney, and this was by far our most favorite trip! We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was so close to all the amenities which were all amazing! The staff was so friendly . I have nothing bad to say about this camp ground! And we can’t wait to come back!

Would camp there again if they get a handle on the noise issues. Three nights in a row what appeared to be seasonal campers tour the nightly rental areas of the campground honking their horns & playing music as some sort of game. Just before midnight three nights in a row golf carts circled the rental areas of the grounds honking to agitate campers. You could hear other campers screaming at them to cut it out & they’d leave to then return a few min later. This went on three nights in a row involving multiple golf carts & individuals. It appeared to be some sort of game to them. I brought this up to the office when I checked out & was rebutted with the question of why didn’t I call & complain at the time of the issue. Based on reading other reviews & the way the disruptions played out every night I think it’s safe to assume that this is an ongoing game carried out by seasonal campers & the office presumably hasn’t been able to control the problem. Yet I’m told if I don’t return my Gate Key Card on checkout I’ll be charged $50 & I was charged an early check-in fee for arriving 40min early to an empty campsite. There is a lot of moving pieces to this campground, it can be a awesome destination for family’s with kids. Aside from the dust, a more managed speed limit & what appears to be an ongoing issue with noise disruption at night I think it’s a great location. The nightly sites are VERY close together as previously mentioned in other reviews but worked out for us as we camped next to friends. Overall experience was positive but the 11-midnight convoy of drunk campers honking horns as they circled the nightly rental area of the grounds is not acceptable. One would think that would be a critical factor in a guests experience if they’ve got children, or dogs that don’t sleep or respond well to music so loud it wakes you followed by horn honking in waves about every 5min around midnight. Charge me for arriving 40min early but not the regulars that have developed a game of disrupting nightly campers with horns & music at midnight. I was told that quiet hours start at 11pm. So the convoy that circles the area at 10:30pm is called the Golf Cart Parade & deemed acceptable. No horn honking goes on during the day from what I noticed, that activity was reserved late night hours. Fix that issue & this place will be a prime destination in my opinion; they’ve got SO much good stuff going for them there. Also while I’m throwing stones…to counter all the dust they may consider switching from what I presume is 304 stone w/ dust to 57’s, that may help or use a watering tractor like what other grounds use with pond water twice a day to keep the dust down. It wasn’t a little dusty, it was SUPER dusty. Perfection isn’t easy, these guys are close though. Also, the Dog Park area is great. Lastly, in talking with friends that camped next to us…we noticed that there were only two designated areas with dumpsters on the property. We thought this was great because it didn’t result in dumpsters on every corner. Though that may be an inconvenience to some we though it was a good part of the grounds…though its Labor Day weekend & all the dumpsters were more than over flowing by end of day today they may be able to utilize either larger dumpsters or add a few &/or coordinate a pickup going into the busy weekend if they hadn’t already.
