Great youth activity centre.
Ideal for residential or day hire. Big meeting rooms, and indoor activity space, kitchen and dining room lots to do outside zip wire, boating lake.

The bedroom doors don't have a lock. Something was walking around at night. There is no hot water. Down stairs washing facilities really grubby. Kitchen floor is rubble. I have cancer so I try to be clean. The are some nice places though. Having to wash with stone cold water made me pretty angry especially when I had mentioned this to Douglas. I just hope we won't be going back next year. I have just come back from Tom Roberts Adventure Centre. Douglas seems to be no longer working there. The place now seems to be run by a chap called Joe. He is a very kind and welcoming gentleman. He has a beautiful Christian family. The weather was dreadful. When we arrived there I thought I was in a ship sinking in the Atlantic Ocean. We had a few sunny patches and we were able to play a few community games. We stayed in one of the cabins outside. The tele didn't work but that was okay because we were busy, during our stay there. Our cabin was beautifully decked out. We had a heater to keep us warm. Joe was very helpful. He did all he could to make our stay a happy one and there was hot water so we could wash. I think Tom Roberts is a great place to have a community advent. Joe was brilliant. I hope the company can hold on to him.

Only went to drop of family member who had a great time. Inside looks clean but dated still needs work doing. This is not disability friendly the room the presentation was in access was over rocky ground not great for my family members mobility aid.
The stairs to the accommodation are step impossible for my family member with mobility issues to access.
Idea who the group using it had what they needed and the parts you see as you enter are beautiful.

What a spectacular place, beautifully cared for by a lovely group of people who are so generous with their skills and time. They have a real vision of a place where young and older people can meet with Jesus in a safe and lasting way. Thank you for your your welcome today.

Great place with large open spaces out in the countryside. They have an adventure playground, a lake with peddle boats on. They have large barns for sports or events, a large dining room, a large commercial kitchen for self catering and have bedrooms or a field for camping. It's only 2 or 3 miles from Newent so it's close enough to shops.

Visited today and was far from impressed. The place is generally in a state of disrepair- the first place we went was a falling apart barn that smelt of cigarette smoke. The "lake" is really a small pond, the boats barely seemed safe, and neither did the go karts, which lacked properly functioning brakes, or the zip wire, which led straight to a wooden fence and a ditch, or the trampoline on top of large, sharp rocks, or the jetty that was swaying without people even on it. Their indoor games room has lights falling out of the ceiling and poorly installed windows. Not only that, but there were builders working while we were there, who were producing large clouds of dust. The staff weren't around much either. Generally felt unsafe and in disrepair, would not recommend.
