It's a big statue of Eric Morecambe ( unless he was that tall) with some nice words and quotes in front.
I thought the face looked a bit like him off The League of Gentlemen rather than Eric Morecambe but I'm no expert.

Sorry, no idea who he is. But I think the location of this statue facing Morecambe Bay and the surrounding garden makes this a great picture.

Such a special man, I was looking forward to seeing this and it didn't disappoint. We went early in the day so that we were alone, and it was a good choice.
