We recently spent a family weekend at Tatham House as a 70th birthday celebration. There were 18 of us, plus one well behaved dog, ranging in age from 4 years to 70 years. The house was absolutely amazing. It exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed by Ben who gave us a guided tour, explaining how everything worked and giving us a 24 hour a day contact number (which we didn't need to use). The house was spotless and the dining table was already set for 18. Everyone was delighted with their bedrooms, and the communal areas were lovely. The swimming pool and the hot tub were the highlights - enjoyed equally by adults and children. Apart from 2 early morning runners, we did not leave the house and grounds as there was so much space and so much to do. Such a special house, creating so many special memories.

The Big House team were a pleasure to deal with and could not have made our lives easier throughout the booking process and with any questions we had in the run up to our stay. We spend a weekend at Cotswolds Manor which is simply stunning. Beautiful setting and gardens and the interiors are clean, characterful and perfect for hosting.

Tone Dale House was the perfect venue to celebrate our birthdays with a big group of friends. The house is lovely, so well decorated, well equipped and big! The games room was a massive hit. Every single person in our group said how much they enjoyed staying there.

We had a wonderful experience at Tatham House over Easter. The house was even better than expected -- tennis court in perfect condition, and swimming pool was well heated (warm!) and great for kids. The cinema and games room were a joy, and the open kitchen/dining layout perfect for entertaining. We also enjoyed the many hikes/walks on the hills and forests near the property (10 minutes drive), and the beach (30 minutes drive). We would definitely come back. Special thanks to the Big House Company for their great service, from Beverley who helped us throughout the booking process to Ben who was great upon arrival at the house. Highly recommended.

It's hard to know where to start with our amazing stay at Tone Dale House. This was a family gathering of 21 people over 3 generations and the house was perfect for all of us! Everyone had something to do at all times, whether it was chilling in the large living room catching up, playing pool or ping pong in the games room, to gaming or watching movies in the cinema room. We also then used the hot tub on multiple occasions and walked around the beautiful gardens.
On the Saturday evening we had a great big family meal in the dining room that had been all set up for us and was a perfect evening.
All the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfy and had everything you needed. Tone Dale house is steeped in history and is such an amazing house to stay in.
Beverley and the staff at the big house company are super helpful in every way.

We would love to come back again. The house ticked all the boxes for a big family get together.

The house was just superb. The basics were as you'd expect - exceptionally well equipped, masses of space, really comfortable beds. And it suited our needs for special place for the whole family to celebrate a special occasion. It was great for the children as well, with a cinema room and swimming pool and all the better that they couldn't have access to the pool without an adult there. I know we'd want to stay there again.

We had an amazing Stay at Somerset Grange for my Daughters Hen Do, booking with The Big House Company, was really easy, all the team were so helpful and answered all of my questions. Lucy at Somerset Grange was also very helpful. Hopefully we can use the Big House Co again I would definitely recommend them .
