I only asked the woman what time are buses to the Airport and youd think id demanded her purse a really negative experience because of someone who did not want to be there, she needs re training on how to interact with the public, it may just have been that lady on the day, the muslim lady had a poor attitude and should change jobs if its all too much for her.

Poor knowledge of essential services and no customer service, shambles.
Was already aware which Bus I required and the Bus Stop from where it departs ( used google maps to plan the journey, had waited at the Stop, Bus was not due for more than 25mins,thought it would be a good idea to visit the travel centre to get some further Information for the journey)
Walked into the tavel centre to the desk - the lady looked up at me and stared back as if I had presented myself at her personal desk - it was quite awkwardly weird.. I said I wanted some info from the Travel Centre about a bus..looked down pressed a couple of keys on the keyboard..!
Requesred that I wanted to go to the destination, and mentioned the bus no.. said it was Stop 12 ( was aware of) asked what the next Stop was after this one.. 13 ?!? What was the Bus Stop after this one on the route as it is not listed at the information at the Stop...." I don't know".. Bizarre encounter ' bsolutely no effort made to assist, either could not be bothered or was having a very bad day - even still, not acceptable as it should provide a service - imagine being unfamiliar and coming to this location and leaving more confused.
Check Google maps and the appropriate service providers website.

Today I was on my way to a meeting and instructed by a kind policeman to try the Luton information centre to get to my location. The poor girl at reception was having lunch as I approached her and the young man who was free took his time to even notice me. The girl was unsure on how to direct me so asked the young man. I wanted to only clarify my route. The young man, whose mannerisms reminded me of a few toddlers I know, gave me an incredibly long route which would have made me late, very late. The girl re-checked the route, found that the route I had suggested was in fact the faster and easier route. When I mentioned this to the young lad he said in an awfully rude manner, he didn't know. I tired to empathize with him and his answer was 'it's not my problem'. My advice to this young lad is not to work in customer service or in a people facing job. There are many others who would appreciate the position you are in. If you are not happy and don't give a damn about what you do and helping others get to where they need to be and aren't willing to go the extra mile, please remove yourself and find work elsewhere or study something you love. The attitude was simply shameful and shocking. Perhaps this travel centre should also allow the staff to enjoy there lunch at least, maybe that would change their attitude.
