An unbelievable cruise.
Wasn't sure what to expect from the holiday, however I can say that the food and service, the destinations, quality and friendliness of the crew were absolutely fabulous.
The boat is incredibly well presented - like a stately home on water.

We sailed on the Lord of the Highlands. Pros - great staff, proactive, charming, and helpful. A great itinerary. Delicious food, beautifully served. Cons - extremely steep stairs which are very difficult to negotiate and one flight only has one rail. The rail is chunky and difficult to grip. The safest way to negotiate is to go both ways sideways, one foot at a time. The company advise this ship is not suitable for guests with severe mobility impairment but state on the website that guests with limited mobility can be accommodated provided they are accompanied by an assisting companion. Although this is subjective I would disagree and I don’t think that with only one ‘thick’ handrail on one of the staircases, and the size of the treads, and the steepness of the stairs, this is a suitable ship for people with limited mobility. It is such a shame because it completely dominated our holiday. We had to decide whether or not we could manage the stairs to go out on a trip etc, and other guests also appeared to struggle. We will not travel on this vessel again and this is sad. It did not live up to expectations, sadly.
The beds were also high (because of the design) and were difficult to access and egress.

Outstanding: less than 50 passengers; so, a warm and friendly atmosphere with professional service. Like a floating country house party.

From initial contact with Hebridean Island Cruises all the way through to disembarking we were looked after and treated with the utmost professionalism by ever member of staff. Our seven night cruise around the Hebrides was only slightly marred by inclement weather but the Captain managed to give us a good holiday under the circumstances. Many thanks to all at Hebridean.

We loved this elegant experience, from the ship, the itinerary, the staff and crew, the unparalleled service, the meals and beverages.....it was an awesome cruise! (Beware the bus transportation, it is not good. Make other arrangements to get to Oban if you can.)

A superb, glorious week on the beautiful Princess - totally cosseted and spoiled 24/7 with lots of Bollinger and excellent company. A true house party, brilliantly organised.

Went to the cruise show and your rep was the rudest man. Can't understand why you would use someone like that
