Today my work had our holiday party and we got $200 in cash. 2 $100 bills. They were nice new bills and crisp.

I was in a rush and was running late to a 6pm appointment when I put the money into the self checkout machine. I put both bills in and it only read the one bill. The person was just confused and wouldn't help me at all. Moneys tight and I'm sad I lost $100.

The employees at this location are thoughtful and kind - especially today. At one instance, an employee got my attention and informed me that the item in my hand was half off (I assumed there was a lag in the system, so they wanted to let me know). It was a simple, yet telling gesture. The cashier maintained their poise despite their never-ending check-out line.

They are improving (at least on the weekends) on having more lines open, aside from self check-out. This was an issue in the past, but it seems they are slowly growing back.

If you’re going to offer pick up, you should have the space available for all items. OR let customers know the fridges are full when they add a refrigerated item to the cart, not after they have finished all their online shopping. It used to be fine because you could drive to Inver Grove, but now their fridges are full too?. Other than that, I love the convenience of drive-up.

Store location is fine but self checkout lines are outrageously long and if you want to do store pickup that also takes FOREVER. Same thing with Walmart. Guess I’ll have to go to Costco once or twice per month and stock up on everything I need so I won’t have to go to target and Walmart every week.

Self-checkout a pain in the butt. Literally kept beeping that there was something wrong with our cart when we had scanned them all. Had to rescan THREE times. The team members were saying “scan it slow”. No yeah duh, we WERE. There’s literally other self checkouts with the same problem too. And then both of them (and old white lady and other girl with colored hair) wanted to stand there and talk about how we’re not scanning some items. Also even trying to check if we scanning them all. Like be fr, go watch the security video then. I ain’t got time for this. Never had this issue. Why y’all accusing us of stealing. SMH.

Service desk workers try ending the call as soon as possible without trying to help the guest. I refunded something and asked if the returned item was still there (I left one of my belongings in it) and they said it was already on the floor and sold. I told them it was returned yesterday and they said it was sent out somewhere else.

Here is the picture of what I lost.

If you don’t see what’s there, it’s because it’s not there.

When calling the customer service desk. No answer. When someone finally did pick the phone up, they just slammed it down, hung up. Didn't get part of my pick up order. So now I have to wait until I can go in, in person, AFTER my caregiving duties to take care of it. Because nobody could answer the phone! I get it, everyone is busy, including myself. But hanging up on LOYAL customers is BS.

It was good when my wife and I moved to the area around 2017. Now, in 2024, this store is subpar at best. Most grocery items are always out of stock, produce is okay and moldy. If you don't get groceries when produce is fresh and items are stocked, you're screwed. I need to find a better target or shop at their competitors.
