People always friendly but what was the money exchange (lots of international people) asking queries is now two counters serving everyone with the main counters closed. This has tripled the waiting times. Is this permanent ? The team are always friendly and helpful but this making the service look very slow and cumbersome for just 12
People waiting 20-30 minutes not good Royal Mail/Post Office. The banking customers should have a seperate desk is they are prioritised. More cashiers please

Absolute joke!!!! shame I can put zero stars!! The manager needs to grow a pair and demand more hours or more staff.. Went in there 2day, 2 people being counter only 1 serving and a very fast growing queue. No sense of urgency or customer service at all..!! This is a very regular occurrence... WH Smith need to sort this out as they are WH Smith Staff..

After reading all the reviews that mentioned long queues my wife and I went today to renew my passport.
I joined the queue @ 10.50 was served at 10.54 and @ 11.03 my digital application including my photograph was all completed.
There were two counters open perhaps that made a difference.
Only 4 stars as the area was a bit untidy but if you are stuck behind a counter you can't control what the customers do.

Expect to wait a long time queuing even if the queue isn't that long, staff are friendly and obviously like a chat with the customers but just frustrating waiting when it could be much faster

Couldn’t have been easier. Arrived at 9 40, no queue, two ladies behind the counter, got served straight away for a driving licence renewal with a picture taken, as we were served a couple of customers came in and the second lady came to the counter and served them. Having read other reviews, my expectations were a little low but I was really impressed with the service provided.

The opening times clearly state 9am - this morning opened at 9.04am with 4 people already queuing no reason for the delay apart from chatting between themselves

The staff are great. Wanted to do a check and send for my passport, as my photo was incorrect to do online.So asked the gentleman if he could see why. He explained about the digital send which we did. Queue was long but as he was left alone because of lunch which is understandable. He was great and so helpful

Due to post office cost cutting with staffing levels you will have to queue no matter the time of day. The fault is not with the staff who are constantly working I have witnessed them missing their breaks on more than one occasion due to customer levels. I've always experienced great, friendly and helpful service.
If anyone wants to moan about the post office I'd suggest contacting the Head office directly a Google review won't achieve anything at all.
