Antigua Sailing Week. Sail with Kraken and the best sailing on the planet. The evening socials are great too.
If you don’t like sitting on a beach doing little and wish to have a challenge, excitement, meet new people and taken a little out of your comfort zone. Then Antigua Racing Week with Kraken Travel is the way to go. The boats and the people from Kraken are top drawer. They will train you to be safe, competent and competitive in no time ready for the racing. That means you need not be a person able to compete at top levels of sail racing before the week. Although, personally, I would recommend a minimum basic knowledge of sailing, dinghies or yacht cruising.

I must say a Big Thank you to the Kraken Travel and in particular to Mike for the great adventure around Ireland on board of the Telefonica Black. I had finally my chance to test myself in some tough condition and live the true spirit of an offshore regatta! I also had a chance to learn a lot about sailing thanks to Mike and the Telefonica's crew. They are all very passionate and competent professionals and I deeply reccomend it to anybody that want to experience something out of ordinary and unforgettable. The team at Kraken is one of the most responsive, solution-oriented, and well-connected I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We booked a private yacht on the Amalfi Coast through them for August 2020. Couldn’t go due to COVID but they negotiated with the yacht owner and enabled us to take the trip the following year on the same wonderful boat. Friends lost their deposits through other companies.

Liked Kraken so much I signed up for Antigua Sailing Week through them. Got placed on a fabulous professional yacht and felt prepared and supported during the whole trip. They even organized a special resort day for Kraken customers, which was great as a solo traveler.

Can’t recommend them highly enough for any type of boating adventure!

Just completed Antigua Sailing Week 2023 with Kraken Travel. I can highly recommend this adventure and company. We had a wonderful trip, learned loads, sailed in some fantastic races with an exceptional Skipper in Mike and met some interesting people. We will be returning. Well done Kraken Travel ?

We needed a change, we can all get stuck in a rut, so we contacted Kraken early in 2019 which resulted in us joining one of their sailing challenges, as a couple we joined the RORC off shore sailing series in 2019, culminating in the fantastic experience of racing in the world famous Fastnet race. Each of the races was a full on learning experience. Handling a Volvo 70 with all of its technicalities it is a huge boat to handle ? The professional crew were terrific, safety was the number one priority.
As a couple going on such a huge adventure over the course of six months we learnt even more about each other which has led us on to pushing our own boundaries.
If you are an adventurous person or you just want to step out of your comfort zone and try something new we highly recommend you talk to Kraken Travel they communicate well, are friendly and informative. Go for it ?

The team at Kraken Travel are professional. I joined them on my first yacht race this year and because I am blind, I had lots of concerns, but nothing was a problem and Henry, Geordan and Mike enabled me to be an equal part of the team. Everyone supported me both on shore and onboard making sure I knew my way around the yacht and helping me to build on my sailing experience. My disability did not faze anyone, I look forward to my next adventure with them.

Great day sailing on Telefonica Black.

We booked on the day sailing experience having previously had no sailing experience. Quite daunting at first but we were warmly welcomed onboard and once we had a steady sail to Cowes we got going and thoroughly involved in getting the workings of the yacht.
Had a great crew that literally showed us the ropes and all.

Already looking to join another multi-day sail or race event with Kraken

Kraken are the most incredible company who go above and beyond. I have been on 2 trips with my favourite being the Biscay Blast on Telefoncia and bring on the Caribbean next year!
If you’re looking for a responsive, high quality adventure these guys are your best bet!
