I thoroughly enjoyed my recent tour of mid-Wales with The Little White Truck Company. Anita & Gavin (and Jack the dog) put a fun-packed, two full-day itinerary of some of the most iconic lanes on Instagram.

They were super supportive, and non-judgmental, of my limited off-road experience, and I came away understanding a lot more about my vehicle than I did on the Friday night when I rocked up at the first camp site.

If you want an adventure, and need someone to go with who can guide you (and not laugh when you don’t know your diff-lock to your approach angle) then I can’t recommend these guys enough.

This was such a brilliant trip!

It was my partners and mine first defender experience. Gavin and Anita made us feel more than welcome. They were very patient with us both, and made us feel relaxed and confident while tackling the lanes.

We explored the Welsh countryside and were given plenty of opportunities to take in the scenery and stop for photos. We chose to camp for the weekend, staying in the roof tents which was really comfortable. Both campsites were lovely and facilities were very good.

I couldn't recommend this experience enough. Definitely will be booking again!

Two trips now and both fantastic! Anita and Gavin really put in the effort to make the trips special and they certainly are not precious about their vehicles, really putting them through their paces! Their experience means they give great instruction that gives you confidence and encouragement to tackle the tougher terrain. We are now planning our third trip and looking forward a new adventure with the Markhams!

Had a great trip hitting some of Mid and Nort Wales Lanes. All achievable with good local knowledge / best lines to take from Gavin. All in all an enjoyable couple of days.

The two days were very well organised and led. We started with a very simple lane with each subsequent lane increasing in difficulty. When we came across a specifically difficult challenge Gavin would call a halt and have us out to explain the best way to tackle the hurdle. He then demonstrated his explanation by driving his vehicle through first. A most enjoyable weekend with some excellent scenery and enjoyable company.

Had a great weekend away with TLWTC, their knowledge of the area and terrain was superb and hospitality was great. Saw some amazing places and offloading was great. Highly recommended
