Came in to the store to have a better understanding after going to other travel agents. Met with Natasha, who was so lovely can I add, and she went through various places, as well as gave recommendations of stuff to do and areas that go with what we wanted to do. Had an amazing experience and ended up booking a very amazing trip for our honeymoon! The deal was incredible. And Natasha made it so easy and comfortable to get exactly what we want!! Would highly recommend the store after not having as good of an experience for our honeymoon holiday elsewhere. And a big part of that was Natasha!

Unfortunately this is going to be a very hefty complaint. I visited the virgin shop in meadowhall at the start of the year having no knowledge of long haul flights. I was sold an absolute dream of a resort in Mexico bed and breakfast. Only to be told by another travel agent a month before we fly that we should have never been sold bed and breakfast for Mexico as it’s unheard of. We feel that the travel agent who sold us this was either misinformed themselves or was very
experienced to charge £1,600 to two girls looking for a holiday. The process of filing a complaint with virgin was horrendous after constantly been passed between different staff members and stores. After finally getting in touch with the regional manager we were offered a solution to move hotels for a fee. A fee I don’t believe we should have paid after being mislead regarding the holiday we were sold. It would seem after speaking to multiple staff that no one has any idea of their owns policy’s as different information was given at different points. Due to all this previous stress the person I was due to travel with no longer wished to go. So then I had the added stress of changing the passenger. I was quoted online that it was around £200 to change the whole flight as virgin don’t deal with name changes. I wasn’t told that I had to commit to this that day as the flights were due to be ‘ticketed’ the following day. What this means I still don’t know. The flight then went to over £1,000 and we were told that the original passenger would lose the cost of the flight as it has been ‘ticketed’ and receive around £700 refund for the hotel had we cancelled the hotel and re booked under the other passengers name. This is because we were in the window of losing 70% of the cost. So if we cancelled the hotel and re booked instead of changing the passenger name, the original passenger was due to get some of the refund from the hotel. We clarified this several times as we were so confused by this point and had been sat in the store for over two hours. Why we had to do this I still don’t understand as it’s a package holiday we were sold. After confirming all this we were then told the other passenger due to fly had to now not only pay for a flight change, but also the cost of the hotel. To add to that, we were told this after they had re booked the flight with the second passenger. Leaving us feeling like we had no choice now but to pay what we were being told we had to pay. I have never experienced a travel agent charging the price of a booking a hotel for ten nights as a ‘name change’ with an added £56 on top. It worked out that the original passenger now has received zero refund and instead the second passenger has paid the total of the original holiday plus extra. Virgin now have had a total over £4,000 out of us and the way we have been treated after booking is truly awful. The customer service is one of the worst Iv experienced to say the reputation virgin is supposed to have. I will say the regional manager was lovely to speak with and the most helpful. I really regret having to write this review, but I am so fed up of having overpaid and being left confused and upset by what’s happened. Id also like to add that I asked for transcripts of the live chats emailed to me so I’d have proof of what Iv been told and when, only to be told that they were unable to give it to me as they happened when the other passenger was on the booking despite the fact I am now the lead passenger and have always been on the booking. To finalise my complaint, I would like in writing exactly why we have been charged what we have with policy’s in writing to back it up as I truly don’t believe that what has happened to my booking is correct. I will never book with Virgin again due to how I’ve been treated and I will ensure to let my peers and social media know about this too. I await your response.’

Recently spent close to £20k on a family holiday, they neglected to tell us that the company would then want to charge us over £600 to Sir together as a family. The sort of thing expected of budget airlines, not when you've spent this amount on a holiday.

Visited to look for a family holiday to the Caribbean. Felt very welcome and fantastic service from Natasha.
She was very patient and provided exceptional service, so much.. we are off to Jamaica.
Would definitely recommend visiting Natasha and the team if you are looking for a dream holiday.

Fabulous service 5 star - we stopped by literally 30 mins before they closed to book a last minute weekend away to New York. Alison looked after us and booked us a great package with everything taken care of, our experience was 5 star well done Virgin Meadowhall.
