Brigantes are exceptional. They arranged the Coast to Coast for me 17 years ago and now a hike down the Northumberland Coastal Path, Hadrian’s Wall and then the Northern section of the Pennine Way. Just back from walking the Herriot Way. As usual Brigantes were helpful, flexible and reliable. Can't fault their service at all. And the Herriot Way is a fantastic route. Varied and interesting with 12 mile or so days making it a perfect walking trip.

Having completed twelve walks with them over the past ten years I have nothing but praise for the efficient and personal service which Brigantes provide. Luggage is collected and delivered seamlessly, accommodation is of a very high standard and any particular requirements are met.

Despite only giving Brigantes only a few weeks to put together a walking package during a busy walking period and, on a popular route,(The Dales Way) everything worked like a dream. The accommodations were all great and the taxis were always punctual and pleasant.

A group of 7 of us recently used Brigantes to organize our walk along the Dales Way. I had also used Brigantes for my Pennine Way walk several years ago. They are based in Northern England and are very much in tune with the various long-distance paths in the region. Seems everyone knows "Annette and Sarah". We were a somewhat demanding group with several additions/deletions to our walk. Brigantes handled these in a professional and efficient manner. I consider them honest and beyond reproach. One lodging was unacceptable--Riverside Hotel in Ilkley had an infestation of spiders! But that isn't the fault of Brigantes. Several of our lodgings were exceedingly nice. Our luggage was always waiting for us at the next lodging. Bottom line: they know what they are doing.
