Old medieval stone building great for small concerts and talks, also great for craft fair. Has a big fireplace in use on certain occasions. About the size of a small village hall but with loads of history and atmosphere. Small stage at one end.

A lovely Grade 1 listed building to with along and great history, with great connections with Archbishop Chichele a former Archbishop of Canterbury around late 14th century. He paid for the construction etc of this beautiful building for the housing of 12 Bedesmen and a Bedeeswoman to look after them.

Founded in 1423 by son of Higham Ferrers, Archbishop Chichele, this historic building with original timber roof-frame and large open fireplace, is still in frequent community use - from craft sales on farmer's market days and as part of the annual Victorian Sparkle, to Mayor-making, fitness and leisure activities.
