Terrible service. Left in a dire situation whilst on holiday!
We booked what was advertised as a ‘christmas market’ cruise over two years ago through a post from Hays travel Birtley. We only seen one Christmas market the whole week. We spoke to an advisor upon booking the holiday about the room configuration as there was 4 adults travelling. We were informed that the room would have two double beds. One possibly being a pull out sofa bed which was absolutely no problem. Upon embarking on the ship we were extremely disappointed to see that we had been put into a room with bunk beds. These bunk beds had a weight limit which we all exceeded. We went to reception on the boat and were told we would have to contact hays travel as they booked it. Spent almost 3 hours on the phone basically to be told there is nothing they could do and this is what we booked. Not at all! We wouldn't have booked the holiday if that was the case and if they properly looked into it they could have pulled the call that was made after booking to confirm this. Spent 7 night sleeping on the floor of the cabin on our cruise. Rude, very unhelpful staff. If i could have gave them 0 stars i would have!
