Visited Hebdon Bridge at the weekend, surprised the wife with Afternoon Tea cruise.

Nicki the host was amazing, good comms and made the trip (approx 1 hour) entertaining and enjoyable - great historical knowledge of both the area & canal.

Great way to relax and take in the views - especially on a sunny day like we were lucky to have. Would Recommend!

Had the most relaxing, wonderful, trip which included a Taste of Yorkshire platter. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend.

This was an absolutely class little trip. We booked for 10 people and a baby for cream tea. The boat is charming and the tea, coffee and scone set up was very cute. The explanation of the local history of the canal was really interesting and informative. Both of the women operating the boat were so friendly and down to earth that they felt like part of the gang, and were really lovely with the baby. Great value for money and we'd absolutely recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much Nicky.

Our 1pm slot was cancelled and moved to another time slot. Was a couple of bumps as the boat was turned around, and crashed into the walls at either side. The person operating it seemed to have had a glass of something while preparing for the next trip, and then steering. I only hope it was non-alcoholic. Few wasps loitering around the scone, maybe food nets should have been used to cover the food. Enjoyable though

I booked a party of eight last weekend for a family birthday on to the afternoon tea option. It exceeded expectation. The hour long tour was informative and we all had loads of fun. Absolutely going to book again soon, thank you!

Worth every penny! Nicky is a fantastic host. The audio tour was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a lovely hour enjoying a cream tea and sitting on top of the barge boat learning around the local area. Nicky clearly does her research and knows her stuff. Thank you

Thank you to Nicky, had a lovely Afternoon Tea with our friends. No halal option but Vegetarian provided. Amazing cake, sandwiches and scones! Lovely ride along the canal with historic and current information. Such a great experience. Free parking and toilets available in the pub. Nicky was so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.
