We went on a 5 day trip to Edinburgh Christmas Market and Oban. We can't fault this at all. From start to finish we had a fab time. Our Driver Richard was FAB, The hotel, although dated, was fine. The food was spot on, and the trips were great. Honestly, I can't fault it for what we paid was so worth every penny.

Caladonian towers Blackpool.
Fantastic 3 night stay.
The rooms were clean and spacious, The meal were enjoyable and the restaurant staff were very polite. We were given a 3 day loyalty card for 4 free drinks per day this was a great saving on the weekend budget. The bar lady named Tracy was Exceptional she was very welcoming, Friendly, pleasant and extremely polite. Tracy is a very hard worker serving drinks collecting glasses aswell has washing up due to dishwasher broken. The evening in the hotel was brilliant with good priced drinks and the entertainment was great. Thank you to all the staff for making our weekend extra special.

EURO DISNEY DISASTER. We have just returned from what was meant to be a special family holiday to Euro Disney.
I booked for my family of 5 to sit together on the coach (back in April) as 2 people in front with 3 behind. Then 10 days before travel told our seat have been moved and now a line of 4 with one behind. The terms and conditions says they will liaise with you, they don't, they dictate and don't listen or care.
We booked and paid for two adjoining rooms. We arrived to be given two rooms 6 doors apart and across the corridor. The hotel said that Caledonian had not booked this and as it was 11pm there was nothing else available and had to separate the family. The hotel did say they could do something for us but we would have to wait around the next day for two rooms to be cleaned and us to move into. This would mean we lost several hours of our day in the park. With a 8 year old who was desperate to go to Disney.
All in all Caledonian Travel have lied about their own terms and conditions, they just do what suits them best, they have forgotten to book my accommodation correctly so split a husband, wife and 3 children up, they don't answer the emails or contact us, they don't care once they have your money.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
I paid over £2100 for this trip and the only thing they did right was give me 2 days park tickets for each of my family. So as for a special family holiday they spoilt two very important factors of a family holiday, you split the family up on the bus because it suited you and forgot to book a family a room suitable to keep us together. Major aspects of a family holiday!!!!!!!!!!
I was told by a customer service agent I should be grateful they moved us on the coach or else the holiday would be cancelled. Well I wish they had cancelled it as we feel robbed.

Went on a trip last weekend and stayed at The Hampton by Hilton in High Wycombe and left a pair of expensive boots behind by mistake. Contacted both the hotel and Caledonian Travel and the latter hasn’t even bothered to reply. According to the hotel the boots miraculously disappeared into thin air. How about that? The least Caledonian Travel could have done is reply as I was actually informing them that the hotel that they use has dishonest thieves working there but I suspect they’re not bothered about that if it’s the cheapest hotel they can find at the time. Definitely won’t be using them again.

I visited Bournemouth recently with Caledonian.
The hotel was very good, location great .

Several trips were available during the 5 day holiday, which I enjoyed.
However the only disappointment was the coach driver .
He was simply that, a driver, he didn't give us any information throughout the trips just simply picked us up and dropped us off.
No definite information on display in the hotel reception, which he assured us would be available from arrival

Just returned from a tribute weekend Tina turner was amazing the grand. hotel fantastic food lovely put on a Christmas dinner glass of wine free and crackers on table staff very helpful rooms very clean a couple of trips cancelled due to the storm but did not put a dammer on it well done all

Just returned from anterton boat lift and peak steam train weekend. Brilliant. Hotel in derby was Leonardo hotel and it was 4 star. Lovely hotel. Stopped off in Bakewell on way home Coach driver was great with itinarry. Look forward to booking another trip great value for money.

If you are thinking of booking a West end trip with this company, I'd think again. Firstly got told to be at pick up at 6am (originally 7am) didn't get picked up until gone 7:30am, issues with the coach - no apologies from the driver or anything which was very rude. After final pick up would have expected a welcome talk which didn't appear until nearly an hour after the final pick up. Which then included crude jokes and insensitive talk of death. When we eventually arrived at the services we knew we were going to miss the show. Communicated with the driver whom assured us that he had spoken to customer services but had no answers to our questions. We then got handed out tickets (paper copy) then received an email with our tickets too none of which matched all different. When I spoke to someone at the company I was assured we would make it with 7 minutes to spare! Not acceptable really. So we missed the first half hour of our show. Again no apology what so ever. Fast forward to Sunday again same rude mannerisms from the coach driver, we arrived back on the coach after some time in London no communication of "I hope you enjoyed your day etc." On the journey home toilet smelt horrendous people asked if we were planning to stop again no response or a blunt rude response from the driver. We finally arrived at some services. Then continued the journey home. Again at drop off no "I hope you have enjoyed your time, thanks for travelling with us" which you would of kind of expected. The driver in question should really think about his choice in career as I don't think this is the job for him with his terrible customer service skills! Will most definitely be logging this weekend as a complaint and will not travel with this company again.

On a plus side the time in London was enjoyed to the best of our abilities and the hotel wasn't bad at all for a night, comfy beds and nice food. The theatre staff were also very kind and considerable, think the driver should take a lesson from them!
