For a small place, this really holds a LOT of history, stories, objects, etc. It was immersion, informative & we thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a car park outside. I recommend taking cash in £1 and 50p if you can. There is an app to pay online but it was fidly. Your tickets to the museum will also grant you access for 12 months.

The museum exhibits well curated items in the house where the Brontë sisters were brought up and wrote their early childhood stories, their self-published poems, and their famous novels.
There are plenty of panels explaining the history of the house and the family to get immersed into, but also a few interactive items, for the most active souls.
There is a lovely shop at the end of the tour, where you can find the most exquisite editions of the books written by the sisters.
The house is surrounded by a nice garden, where you can see a bronze sculpture displaying the trio.
The house is at the highest point of the 'Brontë village' in Haworth, a wonderful visit in all, with splendid shops and pubs, being the museum the jewel on top.
There is a car park with public toilets very close to the museum (you have to pay in order to use any of them).

As a longtime fan of Charlottes Brontë, especially, I was excited for the opportunity to see the home in which she spent her life. They’ve done a good job displaying important items from all the family members, and one gets some idea of what life was like for them. I get the sense more is known about the family than can easily be displayed; I’m keen to explore a little deeper.

This is definitely worth a visit. The layout, displays and explanatory notes are really good. There is no pressure to move on and you can freely move around at a leisurely pace. Haworth itself is charming, quaint and picturesque.

Lovely museum. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and interested in learning more about the Brontë's. Appreciated the calm bags they had available at the front desk (with ear defenders, fidget toys etc), a nice touch.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Brontë Parsonage and museum! Purchasing tickets online in advance made for a seamless entry process. The warm welcome and clear instructions from the staff member set a great tone for the experience.

The house itself is remarkably preserved, transporting you back in time to the world of the Brontë sisters. The exhibits are fascinating, offering insights into their lives and creative processes. I went on a weekday, which allowed for more breathing room to appreciate each space. If you're visiting during peak times, be prepared for it to be a bit more crowded.

Even if you're not intimately familiar with the Brontës, the informative displays throughout the house make the visit engaging and enlightening.

All in all, the Brontë Parsonage is a captivating experience that I highly recommend to anyone with an interest in literary history or simply curious about the lives of these remarkable sisters.

What a wonderful museum for the Brontë fan! You get to walk through the rooms in which those wonderful novels and poetry were written and learn more about their lives.

The parsonage is set up like it is thought to have been during the Brontë's time living there, when the famous sisters' father was working at the church at the foot of the house - you can see where there was once a gate directly from one to the other. It's a big house and the Brontë foundation has an excellent collection of manuscripts and recreations to make the place come alive!

Very informative as well as atmospheric - I learnt a lot about the Brontë family I didn't already know (including that there were originally six children, and their poor father Patrick outlived every single child...). You walk self guided through the museum which has a perfect balance of information - not too much, but a lot at the same time!

Wonderful (although dangerous for the bank balance!) gift shop with books (of course!), including biographies, copies of the Brontës' work, retellings, works on feminism, children's books, history books, modern poetry... A literary feast! Also, lots of memorabilia including posters, pens, jewellery, prints, miniature craft projects (inspired by the Brontë children) and more!

The Brontë Parsonage Museum is a real treat - and very reasonably priced as you can spend a long time here with the exhibits.

A lovely and haunting place, and such a treat to see into the daily lives of the Brontë family as well as read so much about them. Waited ~10 mins to get in, lined up in the beautiful garden with a view of the church where most of the family is buried so I didn't mind a bit. The house was a bit cramped as it was full to capacity that day but everyone was polite and there was plenty to look at. Staff do a fantastic job of keeping an eye on things and making visitors feel welcome.

My only gripe is that I wish the museum had more about Anne and Emily (but especially Anne). And you must visit the Anne stone in the fields behind, part of an installation of stones across Yorkshire for the Brontë children and the only stone near the house as Anne's the only one not buried at home with her family.
