Ama Dablam expedition - 02/11/2024 - 30/11/2024

All month, the trip was excellent and our Sherpa guides very friendly and exceptionally well experienced, with our lead guide Phurba having climbed Everest 18 times. A mountain that takes a lot out of you and I wouldn't have been able to say I summited without their great help, as well as all the guys at the base camp lodge, who were also very friendly and willing to help with anything.

The build up to the trip by Adventure peaks themselves was well communicated/outlined and any questions or issues I had were answered quite quickly by the team. Any equipment I needed was easy to buy from there store as well.

Will definitely be using them for other expeditions I want to try and tick off in the future.

Been buying clothing and equipment here for years. Extensive stock of good quality brands and Mark and his team really know their stuff. A sister company organizes and equips expeditions to the Himalayas and other high level destinations but they can also help with footwear and clothing for more low level rambles. They also arrange guided walks in the local area and I've been on a couple. They also have a good amount of sale items if you love a bargain! Highly recommended by this customer.

We booked the Ghyll Scrambling at Stickle Ghyll on 22 September 2023 with Dave. It was an amazing experience and our family had a great morning. When we arrived at the shop in Ambleside the 2 members of staff we met were friendly and engaging and made us all feel really welcome.

I completed the National Three Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa in 24 hours) with Adventure Peaks in July 2024. The experience was superb from start to finish.

Booking was easy and communications were excellent. I’d previously tackled the same challenge with another provider in 2023, and Adventure Peaks were a cut above.

Adventure Peaks’ timetable is perfect, starting at Ben Nevis at 5pm and thereby ensuring the longer road journey is done overnight to minimise risk of delays.

Adventure Peaks were extremely helpful with pre- and post-challenge logistics too.

Guides Chris Barlow and Ben Field were truly exceptional, with Chris taking on most of the driving duties and Ben being the Mountain Guide for our trip. Ben’s guiding style is very much one of positive encouragement and it’s absolutely because of him that I completed the challenge within the 24 hour target, despite an incident on Nevis which cost us some time. He knows how to set the right pace and is great at guiding hikers through more technical terrain. To cap it all, he’s a genuinely nice person.

I would certainly book again with Adventure Peaks. Highly recommended.
